I was so hoping there'd be a way for Pam to stay at the picnic when Roy left. And I'm glad Roy is now back to being his normal boorish self.

Attaboy, Roy, always the great fiancee...not.  Love the fireworks....brings my mind back to The Client and the "date."  Jim starts off trying to be "the boss" and not horse around, but ends up getting all tousled and dirty playing football despite his best intentions.

Enjoying this story.  Thanks!

I really like it! I don't usually go for AU's like this, but you do it really well. I giggled so much at Pam and Jim doing their little detective gag. It was cute. :)

So glad that you are continuing this story!  I was going to write you some very strongly worded posts on TWoP, but I see that is now unnecessary :)  Carry on!

Ooh, pampongchamp, I LOVE this story! I keep picturing it in the palette of Far From Heaven. It's a great storyline, and I love Boss!Jim. I'm really excited to see where this goes- it's a nice contrast between the intensity of their feelings and the ridgid society.
Also, How Far Is Too Far was hysterical! It may have had the disctinction of having the funkiest looking baby in any film.
Keep on writing!
