They reached her door and smiled at one another. Neither would break eye contact for fear that the date would then be over. He stammered a little, “This was..is great.”

“I know.” She added, still smiling.

“Are you free tomorrow night?”

“Definitely.”

With that, the staring melted into kissing.

Tomorrow felt a long ways off.
