In Between by realitycheck
Author's Notes:
A brief conversation between Pam and Jim which happens after Beach Games but before The Job.
“Jim? You drunk?”
“No. Well, yes.”
“You drive?”
“Nah. Cab. Car is at Poor Richard’s.”
“Why-“
“I have to know.”
“Know what?”
“Did you mean it?”
“Mean what?”
“The wedding.”
“Yes.”
“Wish I would have known earlier.”
“Yeah. Me too. I wish-.”
“Gotta go. Cab’s waiting.”
“Jim?”
“I have an interview in New York next week.”
“Oh.”
“Is that it? Just ‘oh’?”
“I have already told you. Your turn.”
“Bye Pam.”
“Bye Jim.”
He leaves.
She sobs.

Yes by realitycheck
Author's Notes:
Jim's thoughts race after her answer.
He tapped his fingers on the desk.

It annoyed Dwight to no end.

She remained seated with the door closed.

Where will he take her?

Karen yelled at him – a lot.

The tears at the end wrecked him.

Yet the job stayed turned down.

The girlfriend remained the ex.

For her.

For the chance.

He let his heart breathe again.

He asked.

She answered.

It’s a date.

Out to Sea by realitycheck
Author's Notes:
Word said it was 55 words so here it is....
The documentary was on television now though she had not watched it.  Tonight was different.  She missed him and just wanted to see his face.  She had forgotten about the January motivational cruise.  Large tears fell when he said he would save her.  She called him because she was sinking.  He answered and rescued her.

I'm Going Home by realitycheck
Author's Notes:
driving at night...
On the way home she sat in silence and watched him drive.

“I see you watching me you know.”

“You are cute. Did you get a lollipop at the barber’s shop?”

“He was out. I threw a fit.”

“I might have some at my place.”

He shook his head and smiled. “Fancy New Beesly indeed.”

Heads are Talking by realitycheck
Author's Notes:
Interviews shortly after The Job...5 of them actually
MICHAEL: Did Jan move in? Yes and no. Yes meaning all of her clothes, furniture, and…toys are now in my place. No meaning she is there maybe four times a week. Where does she go? I do not know. What I do know is that when she gets back she smells like cigarettes and Nyquil. Please help me.

DWIGHT: No I am not happy Jim is back. One minute I am his superior the next he’s mine. It is like when a lion is stalking a helpless gazelle, only to have the gazelle turn around and be the lion’s boss. It is going against Nature. And Nature is a cruel mistress. Cruel indeed.

KAREN: Yes today is indeed my last day. There is nothing left for me here. To tell you the truth, the people here are crazy. It is fairly telling that the person I will miss the most is a lady who made my face up like a clown. And Jim? No comment.

JIM: You know what? It’s great. We still have things to figure out. It will take time, but finally I feel like we both are on the same page. Believe it or not, I actually feel optimistic. I didn’t really believe in fate before, but I do now. And I’m sure Kevin feels the same.

PAM: He said that? He is SUCH a dork. The past week has been awesome. We have our moments but you know what? He was worth the wait. I just wish I could stop grinning. It’s like I’m the Joker or something. If the Joker was a woman. Who answered phones. For a paper company.
