Author's Notes:

I don't know why I'm on a "Jim and Pam cannot have a perfect relationship" kick - I guess it's because it's been so real so far, that I know things won't be perfect just because they how have a chance to be together.... but this is me, so you know it's really fluff.

I don't own them; I'm not sure I'd know what to do with them if I did. (Now that's a lie, but we'll discuss that later.) No copyright infringement intended.

Jim always knew it was the little things about her that he loved most.

The way she sparkled when they pulled a prank.

Her calming influence on Michael.

The twist of her necklace when she needed to be brave.

And now that they were finally together,

The little things were threatening to drive him insane...

Lack of sleep by time4moxie

All night her bedroom ceiling fan turns,

even while the air conditioning churns away.

The room is cold and noisy, and Jim finds it hard to sleep.

But Pam likes blanket snuggling, and finds the sound soothing.

“They make white noise machines,” he hints for the umpteenth time.

“Yeah, but they really aren't the same.”

The view from there by time4moxie

He's whispering apologies as he trips over strangers' feet,

following Pam in the darkness as the previews start.

He realizes that she always picks the row exactly halfway up,

always sits in the seats exactly halfway in.

He wants to sit in the back row;

it's more fun to kiss and throw popcorn from there.

Clink.....times four by time4moxie

She doesn't make a sound, but Jim knows she's counting -

one...two...three...four ice cubes in each glass.

She claims it's the perfect ratio of liquids to solids, and

complains if he uses either too many or too few.

Jim's convinced it really doesn't matter;

it's just her way to get that Second Drink.

At the end of the day... by time4moxie

He's wondering if he can live with all her idiosyncrasies

without going completely bonkers,

when the call comes that the car is totalled but she is fine.

Immediately he knows he can live with the ceiling fan...

and the movie seats...

and four ice cubes...

as long as he doesn't have to live without her.
