He’s digging into yesterday’s pizza when the phone rings. Pam’s ring.
“Hey you.”
“Hey.” Her voice makes him grin.
“What’s up?”
“The Phillies won the NL East.”
He smiles; she has no idea what the NL East is.
“So, you’re a Phils fan, Beesly?”
“Well, you like them, so…”
His laugh interrupts.
“I love you.”
