JIM: Karen, I have to tell you something.

KAREN: What?

JIM: I turned down the job.

KAREN: Meaning you’re willingly gonna give it to me? Aww…how sweet of you Jim!

JIM: No….look, Karen, it’s over.

KAREN: Huh?!

JIM: You and I. We’re through.

KAREN: Why?!

JIM: Because (stands up with a proud look) I’m in love with Pam!

Just then Jim rips off his work clothes and reveals a superhero’s suit with the letter ‘J’ printed on his chest.

KAREN: Ewww, are you wearing spandex?!

JIM: (Annoyed) See?! This is why we’ll never work out! Well, ta ta!

(He crashes through the window and flies away)

KAREN: (Shrugging) Ugh, whatever. I’ll just call my ex-boyfriend and hook up with him again.

Meanwhile, back at the office:

PAM: (on the phone, worried) No mother, it’s not his fault. Okay talk to ya later. Bye. (hangs up)

Jim crashes through the building.

PAM: (Shocked) Jim! What happened?

JIM: Whoops. I accidentally ruined the building.

PAM: Never mind that, how come you’re back?...In a funky suit?

JIM: I didn’t take the job.

PAM: Why not?

JIM: Because….(cue in cheesy music in the background) I love you!

PAM: Oh, Jim! That’s so sweet!

JIM: (self-satisfied) Thank you.

PAM: But…

JIM: But? What do you MEAN but?! Isn’t this what you’ve wanted? What WE’VE wanted. For YEARS?! What can POSSIBLY interfere with that?!

PAM: I’m pregnant. With Toby’s baby.
