Summary: This story takes place in October of Season 3, between Grief Counseling and The Initiation – deep in the heart of angst country. In one of my previous fics (I think it was Sheet Music), I put forth some rationale for why I thought Jim’s birthday was in October (like JK’s), so I’m going to continue with that assumption.
