I really loved this one!
Jim receives a gift the day after Christmas. And then another one the next day. And again for the 10 days after. Is it a joke, or has his True Love come forward? 10 So, I had to run and post this review immediately without even finishing the chapter...Lou Lou! Oh my god! It's my favorite perfume, I started wearing it as a teenager in England, and the last time I left there I brought back 4 big bottles...which ran out years ago. And then not one month ago, I was returning to Germany from the States, and in the duty free shop, what do I find? Cacherel's Lou Lou.
Oh, also, I love this story :)

10 Sorry life has been so crazy for you, but so glad you updated! I can't believe how much I have been looking forward to an update of a Pam rape story but you are addressing it so well. And like so many of the other chapters, this one had me in tears for most of it.

Basically? Dunder Mifflin never exists. And everyone meets under different circumstances.
The characters are pretty much the same -- personality-wise -- they just have different roles and work different jobs.

Oh my god. I sometimes forget that I am reading about Jim and Pam, because the way you describe and detail everything is so real. When Jim saw his sweatshirt on Pam, and the only-ness of those two at that exact moment in time...that was every moment I've ever had like that, ever, all at once. Its not cheesy, and its not over-the-top, and I definitely, definitely love this story.

10 Sooo...I just realized I could not only review stories, but RATE them as well! Mark is so inappropriately appropriate...the perfect roommate. "I'm in love with you"...that was so good, out of the blue, after all that, in that setting.
You write so real, like...you know how some people can draw a portrait, and it looks like someone drew a portrait, but then some people draw and it looks like a photograph, because the details are so good and its so true to life? You write like that.
Its fabulous.

A year or two before the cameras arrived, Michael takes the staff to the Poconos for a camaraderie event. Much unresolved sexual tension and angst ensues (uh, between Jim & Pam, not the entire staff).
10 Wow, Pam thinking she's not good enough for Jim...I have never thought of it that way, ever. Silly, silly Pam.
It almost hurts to see her walk away from that, and makes me a little angry at her. I mean, sure, what she and Roy have is comfy and known, but it really is only half of what she could have, at least.
I want to yell at her, and then I realize...oh yeah, story.
Yeah, that's one of those moments in the text that just sort of...came out. But I could see her thinking that, particularly after having been with Roy for SUCH a long time, you know?

It speaks volumes that Pam is immediately pissed...I totally believe that subconciously she's not even upset, just relieved. This is her chance! Go Pam!
They are absolutely not one-shots; I'm generally constitutionally averse to writing one-shots (though I've managed to do a few, hee).
And (in my version, at least), you're totally right -- I don't think she'd be angry or even really upset...would be too distracted by trying to figure out how to find her way to Jim's apartment....

While MTT was down for a brief time one night, I wrote a couple 55 word fics in the TWOP thread about Jim and Pam reading fanfic. I will likely continue this as a long running series, referencing my favorite stories and also newer stories as they come about.
Poor Pam, I wonder if she knew how deviant she really was? There's a lot of smut out there for them to discover!

What if everything, everywhere, is only meant to fall apart?10 As it always is with your writing, this story had me eating up the page with my eyes. You are SO GOOD. Fluff, sex, angst, every day crap--all the words you write are so real. Not just 'real Jim and Pam' but real people--ANYONE can relate to the characters you create.
Do you have an idea where this one is going? Or are you finding out when we do, sort of?
