9 This was a really great chapter! On one hand I get frustrated that there's still so much distance, second guessing and whatever because I want fluffy puppies and babies and cooking dinner on the second floor terrace. But then on the other hand, I think it's great because you aren't using the rape as a catalyst to get them together, but really showing that it IS a long, awful process with second-guessing, frustration, worry and not a lot of touching, talking and puppies. So really keep it up, you are doing well!
26 Begun out of hiatus frustration as an exploration of what we might miss of Jim and Pam's newfound romance, this has grown into something unique and cool, a multi-authored exercise in creativity and obsession.

I loved the tension. I love the crying and the heartbreaking angst. You are so good at this. I wish Pam had said more, but I get why she didn't. Just amazing work.

Gah - thank you! Let me tell you (as if this is a newsflash): I absolutely love writing the angst, and I do not know why (totally hate drama in my "real" life, hee). But I worried that this might be over the top, always worry that it's over the top when Pam cries.
I remember reading a comment from when I first started writing and posting Office fanfic (over a year ago), and the person (it was a message board type thing, not a review) was criticizing what I'd written, saying that Pam is not a crier. Even though I'd beg to differ -- the pilot, "Boys and Girls," "Back From Vacation," and "The Job" (granted, some of those happened after the criticism) - I still pause every time I write a weepy Pam scene.
So it's nice to hear you say you enjoyed it! (A long rambling way to saying that...) :o)

Wow - that was really powerful! I was so frustrated by Pam for so long, but I'm so happy she is finally being honest with herself - even if she had to say that she loves Jim for the first time to Roy. I can't wait to see where this goes next!

Terrorists invade Dunder Mifflin. Jim and Pam are the only hope for their officemates to get out alive. Close quarters in an airduct and looking death in the face give Jim and Pam the kick in the pants they need to get get together. Takes place after "Beach Games" and before "The Job". A/U.
Oh, I'm so happy to see this story updated! I really liked this part. It's scary and freaky and yet, so incredibly sweet and intimate. Jim's hand on Pam's ankle - wow!

10 Aww, Pam! I was so frustrated by that scene at the end of The Merger because you could tell that they were both covering but neither wanted to see what the other was doing, even though they used to do it all the time. Great chapter - I've loved all the updates tonight ;)
