10 I read this story for the first time when this site was down, and i just fell in love with it. You are an excellent writer. I cried, it broke my heart all the emotion.
I hope that chapter 8 is posted soon, but i can see what you mean about this being a hard story to write. I know that if I were writing stuff with this kinda of material I would need to step back too.

10 OMG i loved this. I can't believe I just found this story now. I thought it was beautiful and wonderful and sad and happy. You are an excellent writer.
A year or two before the cameras arrived, Michael takes the staff to the Poconos for a camaraderie event. Much unresolved sexual tension and angst ensues (uh, between Jim & Pam, not the entire staff).
I am loving this AU version of this story more and more. I have been reading it from the beginning and am always a little excited when I see that a new chapter has been posted.
I can't wait for the conclusion.
So glad you're enjoying it! It's really strange to realize that this AU version -- which has spanned so many more chapters -- is so different from the original ending I had in mind. Still, though, I'm so glad people wanted me to write it, because it's definitely been a challenge -- albeit one I've totally enjoyed.

You know, I had the ending all planned and ready after the first computer crash, and when it crashed again I lost it. So I'm not sure how it'll end, but I'm generally a fluffer. We'll see!
After a scare, Jim ends up in the hospital. Fortunately, pranks always make the day a little bit brighter. Spoilers for 'The Job'.

“But Harry Potter is fictional,” Jim reasoned. “And he has Skelo-Grow.”
“I have Skelo-Grow.”
“No. You don’t.” Jim looked bemused.
Dwight pulled a bottle out of his pocket. “Oh yeah? Then what’s this?”
“Bleach.”
Dwight gave a slightly disturbing smile. “That’s to fool the Muggles.”
Brilliant. It was funny and cute and everything just came together nicely at the end. Good Job.

maybe start with dinner... and you can have it so that there is some kind if awkwardness at the table. than maybe go into the dancing.
Like if you want smut i say go with the dinner table thing, make it so one of them is a little jealous than there is a hookup in another room.
Or you can have them both get a little tipsy, with some dancing. Than have Jim catch the garter and Pam the bouquet and do something with that. I know it's cheesy, but i dont know if you're going for fluffy smut or angsty smut. Or any smut at all.

When i saw that you had written a new chapter i was uber happy. What you did with having Karen and Roy show up together was brilliant... but i was not expecting that whole Roy grabbing Pam and kissing her thing, or the Karen and Jim one.
What i would have really liked to see was Pam slap Roy and then have Jim say something a little cold to Karen something along the lines of her being a bitch. I know we all think Jim and Pam are too nice to do those things, but come on they are human and we all have moments where the rage and anger is too much that we lash out in mean ways.
But i really enjoyed it and can't wait to see where Pam and Jim have gone too and what you are going to make them do next.
now that you speak of that, i completley agree (: i just got through watching liscense to wed for my first time and i can see what you mean. like at the beginning ben seemed like an easygoing guy but he punched the revrend.

I loved it. Just as revealing as Pam on the beach. I can't believe that the chapter ended. I really can't wait to read the rest of this story,hopefully Jim's half comes soon.

I loved the whole fight aspect. And I can see "Brian's" point of Jim not wanting anyone else to have Pam. It matches some of the opinions I had in season 3.
I love the angst, but I am waiting for some happiness... that or maybe the Pam convo with Flonkerted.

I can't wait for the the angst to be gone. But I still crave it because it makes the payoff in happy endings that much better.
BTW I liked the Pam hooking up with the camera guy, nice twist. I think that would be something interesting to see on the show. I mean actually seeing the camera guys.
