Bio:
I'm a third year graduate student studying Child Development who's going to be stuck in grad school for another 2 years. Therefore, I resort to reading (and maybe writing a little too) mass quantities of fan fiction to get me through. Because as we all know, there may not be time for sleep, but there's ALWAYS time for fan fiction.

I loved the interaction with the sister in this chapter. You've created a fantastically kind, yet quick-witted gem of a character here. Personally I'd love to see more of her, but I realize there are JAMmy-er things to get too! :)
Great job as always! I can't wait for more!!
Date: November 11, 2008 Title: Chapter 22: 6:00 PM
Oh my goodness, I nearly peed my pants with excitement to see you had updated! And it was not at all disappointing...it makes me just itching for more as usual! You've still got it my friend. :-)
More please! :-)
Date: May 13, 2008 Title: Chapter 20: 4:00 PM
Eeeeeee! You posted! I gasped with excitement when I found out the great news! :-)
Seriously, thank you for making a really crappy night better...loved it, the tension, the humor, the curveball (Pam did WHAT?!) all of it!
Seriously, nice job, and I will never stop reading this as long as you keep posting!

Okay, this series of IM conversations is awesome! I'm at work reading them (shame on me) and I keep snickering to myself and I'm getting plenty of interesting looks from fellow co-workers. That's always a mark of true hilarity! You do the characters so well, and you've got the IM conversation banter down. Keep going! I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Lol thanks! I hope you didn't get in trouble. It's not actually that hard. I didn't believe people when they said it was easy but I gave it a go and it really is.
Date: January 18, 2008 Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7
Can I just say how much I LOVE these IM conversations! It's like having a little bit of The Office back that I can picture in my head. It's like having a little bit of JAM to carry around in my pocket all day...without the stickiness factor...
Sorry, this review is weird...it's early and I haven't had my coffee...
Nonetheless, Fantastic job!!
Date: January 18, 2008 Title: Chapter 8: Little Man Warmers
LOL. Little Man Warmers?! How did you come up with that?! It's fabulous. I burst out laughing (thank goodness I'm alone in my kitchen) at Jim's reaction. What a wonderful way to start my day...thank you!!
Plus, the image of Dwight's reaction to getting a wedgie in his cartoon beet underwear will never cease to make me giggle.
Please keep writing these, you do them SO well, and they add some Office happiness to my Office-less life. :)

Keep going!

This is like the awesomest awesome blossom there ever was.
You write all of the characters so wonderfully. Seriously...you've got all of them down. I laughed out loud a few times reading this. I love it and I can't wait to find out what happens next!!
What if Pam refused to let Angela drop her off at home after the Dundies?
“I want to go to Jim’s,” Pam said, interrupting Angela’s thoughts.
Angela felt as though her head might pop off and land in one of her cup holders. Would the depravity of this night never end?

I love love love love this story!! Please write more, and soon!
And your rendition of Angela's goggle fiasco made me giggle. *sighs and shakes head* Oh Angela.
Author's Response: I'm glad you're liking it, PBS! More to come probably later this week :)
Date: December 17, 2007 Title: Chapter 6: Pam Pong
This was the perfect end to this story! You write Angela so well. I laughed out loud when I read:
"Just as indulging in that much unashamed licentiousness was dangerous to one’s eternal soul."
That is such a great line. *sigh* Oh Angela.
Nice job! I really enjoyed it!

I must admit, after "Money" aired I thought to myself: "I really hope someone writes what Jim's thinking about during his conversation with Dwight and that long walk up the stairs..." I'm SO glad to see that you're are writing this! I have enjoyed reading a number of your other stories, and you always get the characters and the angst just right! So I'm thrilled to keep reading as this story evolves!
Author's Response:
I'm glad you were intrigued by that, too! I was really glad to see the writers emphasize just how miserable he'd been, because I really do think he was in absolute hell at the end of season 2 (and I'd written him that way before, which made me feel a little vindicated, hee). But I was thrown off by the fact that he seemed to have such an epiphany -- and that Pam seemed to see that, too, based on her response to the kiss. And it's ultimately that epiphany that I'm working toward here.
Thanks so much for your review!

I enjoyed this first chapter, but Pooperman is really kinda gross, though very fitting as Jim is really just a boy at heart. :)
One thing though...in the beginning when he asks Pam to respond appropriately if she accepts his challenge, I was so expecting her to say "Absolutely I do". Any reason you didn't use that?
Great Job, I'm looking forward to reading more!
Author's Response: Umm, i just didn't remember it? I'm not sure. I'll say I just wanted to be mysterious ;)

Wow, this was great! So realistic.
But please please please give us what happens when Jim finds out...I could see a little tension there, especially if Pam didn't even call him to tell him she had car trouble in the first place...
Just a thought, I love it as is though!

Keep the stories coming, you've got some mad crazy skills!
Here's another take on what might have happened if Jim had found Pam crying over him in Back From Vacation. I know, I know...done and redone. Just can't help myself. Spoilers for Back From Vacation.

I don't think I could ever get enough of the alternate possibilities for the Back from Vacation storyline.
Really, great job on this.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! I\'m so glad to know that there are others like myself who almost always want Jim to walk through those doors. *sigh* I appreciate your kind words!

I really enjoyed "Observer Effect" and I can tell I'm going to love this one too.
You really have a wonderful talent for crafting beautiful sentences full of imagery and depth. I can see you're a true writer at heart.
Keep it up! I'm looking forward to reading more!

Yay! I was so excited to see another chapter of this appear!
Nice job as usual...I have to admit, the thought of dealing with Michael Scott at 7am after 3 hours of shopping is enough to make me cringe...poor Jim!
Also, I am in full support of writing fic while in class...so hurray for lecture classes if that means more updates!! :)

Okay these are so awesome! I'm in a coffee shop trying desperately to muffle my laughter in my sleeve.
I'm in the midst of studying for my neuroscience final, so I'm right there with ya. Though I wish I could apply my useless knowledge to Jim and Pam as well as you do. :)
Author's Response:
Haha. Lets see... neuroscience.. "pam's inferiour colleculus was randomly firing at various intervals in a totally incontrollable pattern. her gaba neurons were sending mixed signals. and if NO would just cooperate, then maybe she could get some work done"
okay, that made no sense. Most of my neuroscience was in research with seizures. And I think I blocked most of that out pretty quickly.

Okay seriously, can you just write this story forever? Because I would read it everyday, I love it so much.
I nearly burst out laughing with the diatribe on labor, especially the bit about all women needing to explain how horrible it is to anyone who's pregnant. But I also found myself fully understanding and appreciating the pain and frustration of losing something so crucial to your identity. You have such a talent expressing both the humor and the pain of life.
And lastly, you've made Dad Jim one of my favorite Jims ever. Absolutely perfect!
More soon please!!! :)
Author's Response:
PBS (HA! Look at that!), what a great review! Thank you! Even as a never-pregnant person, it amuses me how women sometimes try to terrorize each other with the "I can top that!" labor horror stories. And the belly-touching! What's up with that?
One of my favorite all-time movie scenes is the cemetary scene in Steel Magnolias where I'm bawling my face off one minute, then laughing so hard the next. Just love that. And if anyone can try to find humor in a painful situation, I think our lovebirds, especially Jim, can do it. Thank you for the compliment about Dad!Jim, but mine is only a very pale, tepid imitation of the one, true Dad!Jim and that is LoveFool's in Baby Talk. Nobody does it better and I should have my head examined for even letting Pam get knocked up in the first place!
Date: December 08, 2007 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - The Beesly Guide to Trimming Your Tree
I love this story! You have such a comfortable writing style. The reader doesn't have to work at all to enjoy every last word. The structure of the story, as well as your way with words make the flow so easy and beautiful. This is such a comforting, warm story, full of so much life. I love the perspective on Pam and Jim's future together, and all the ups and downs they have to face. Honestly it's the perfect companion to a hot cup of coffee on a cold snowy morning. I feel like I could read this forever. Absolutely wonderful! Keep it coming!
Author's Response: Wow! What a wonderful review, PBeesly Sweater! This story's not exactly fluffy, so it's great to read a review like this. I'm so glad you're enjoying it, and chapter 6 is in the works! Thanks so much for the kind words!
Date: January 06, 2008 Title: Chapter 11: Epilogue - Isn't It a Lovely Ride?
Such a lovely, heartwarming story. You capture the passion of life so beautifully. I loved the image of the mosaic. And you give us hope, not just for Jim and Pam and their future together (yay!), but for everyone who reads this story. I for one often feel like life is just a little too uncertain, that the future is just murky and unclear. This story really reminds me that life will turn out okay, and even better than I expect. It's so full of encouragement and hope for everything that can and will be. Truly inspiring.
Thank you Sweetpea for writing an incredible story and sharing it with us. I can't wait to read more of your work in the future.
Author's Response: PBS, you're killing me here. I stayed up most of the night finishing this - I just had a few hours of sleep in the chaise in the living room with the laptop still on. My neighbor's boyfriend came in at 12:30 am and waved at me, sitting here typing. He left at 7:30 this morning and here I was, same spot, same clothes, typing away. All that to say I'm overtired so I got all kinds of weepy when I read your review. I'm so glad you likd the mosaic and it's so true and a good thing to remember when you get stuck in the daily drudgeries of life. Taking a step back and saying it's all part of the big picture and the big picture is just lovely. I can't thank you enough for coming along on this ride and being so encouraging and supportive. :-*
Date: December 31, 2007 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10 - From a Good Day into the Moonlight
You never disappoint Sweetpea, incredible as always. The imagery, the passion, it's all there.
I have to admit, every time I see a new chapter posted it feels like Christmas morning! :)
But please don't say you just have an epilogue left...I want to read all about their adventures with their child! You write this so well, please tell me you'll have more! :)
Really, fantastic job, and I love it.
And keep writing, you have a gift.
Author's Response: PBS, you're gonna make me blubber all over myself! You know, once I wrapped up chapter 9, I looked at the ending and I thought, "Great! Now look what you've done! Nine freaking chapters of buildup!! Way to go, doofus!" So, I sat here trembling at the keyboard for a few days, then I outlined this last chapter and the epilogue, and then it was Christmas weekend and I moved and I just didn't have time to spend with it. Yesterday was 'just do it' day, so I'm so pleased you liked it! I was really nervous about how LONG it was (TWSS), but that story had to be told and no way was I going to stretch it into two chapters! You saying I have a gift? What could be better than that? I can't believe it's taken me so long to get back to something I love so much, so there will be more stories, for sure. Thank you so very much for your sweet words!
Date: December 15, 2007 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 - Just One Look at Her Face is Good Enough for Me
Chapter after chapter is just so, so great. You put so much heart into this story, just incredible.
More please!! :)
Author's Response: PBS, thank you for all the encouragement! Writing this story has been a huge challenge and even when I'm not writing, I'm thinking about it almost all the time. More soon!
