I've really enjoyed this story! I especially like your idea of Jim thinking of the yogurt lid to bring to her (oh that blessed yogurt lid!).
Oh and I loved this line because it is SO TRUE:

"Flowers always have a meaning. Get her the wrong ones and you could be telling her that she smells like rotten cheese.:

How do you do it? Seriously, every single chapter you completely astonish me. This was fabulous as always. So vivid and true to character. You never leave out any detail, no matter how small, which I love. And I can't wait for more! *bounces up and down on toes like Pam in deleted scene of Dinner Party*

Oh, and I would just like to say that I've been trying to tell Mr. PBeesly Sweater about the absolute and supreme power of dark jeans and a white button down shirt...somehow he just doesn't get it...so yeah, you pretty much had me drooling thinking of Jim in my favorite outfit a guy could wear...EVER. :)

Okay, so I love it, (as per usual with the things you write). Inviting Pam to meet the brothers was something I wasn't expecting, so I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with that...maybe Pam will fall in love with the brother modeled after Chuck...(though personally if given the choice, I'm a Jim Halpert kinda girl all the way) ;)
Sorry, I'm rambling. Long story short, fabulous job! You make it all flow so easily, while still building the tension that we have all come to know and love in the Jim/Pam relationship.
I can't wait for more! :)

Eeee, it's so exciting to read that you're enjoying this, seriously!  It makes all the difference in the world to know someone's looking forward to more, seriously.  :o)  Yeah, I had a definite destination in mind for Pam & Jim's brothers, and -- wait, that sounded dirty.  Sorry.  :o)  Seriously, though, I wanted to offer up two sort of foil characters for Jim -- a practical one who's the voice of reason when it comes to Pam (a la Jon) and a more idealistic one who encourages him to go for it (like Josh).

You've really captured them, and also the reality of relationships, so very well with this lovely little piece.
Honestly this is one of the most honest and realistic descriptions of what Jim and Pam could be that I've ever read. Fantastic job!

First off, I haven't commented on this yet (for some reason unbeknownst to me), but it's made of awesome. Seriously. At first I wasn't so sure about the idea, but it didn't take long for me to get completely hooked. And now...*whew*.
I would also like to say that this reminds me a bit of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" with the whole hate-you/love-you-verbally-abuse-you-until-I'm-blue-in-the-face kinda thing. And I LOVE it! (My apologies if you're not a Jane Austen fan, I meant that as a compliment...for my part, I think she's probably the best thing since sliced bread sooo...yeah.) :-)
Anyway, enough rambling...you rule, this is awesome, and I can't wait for more!

Beautifully written. The imagery is fantastic, and this has such and wonderful flow to it.
I really wish Pam could be that brave for realsies...(or frankly, that I could be that brave). Talk about taking a giant leap.
Also, I think Arizona suits them both...I can see that.

This is just incredible. You have such a way with words. Each sentence was like a new discovery, a new journey into the depths of the characters we see for too few minutes once a week. You've articulated the change, as well as the need for change wonderfully. I'm blown away.

This story = fabulous.
I've been struggling with that last scene from last week's ep all week long trying to think of a way that it wouldn't cause drama...and you came up with it in a perfect little two chapter piece! Love it! And of course the fluff is wonderful. :-) Yay!
