This story caught me surprise- it's intelligently written and FUNNY. Lines like "...audibly evident in my bilingualism (Ich stelle die Maennlichkeit dar.) and... Oh, Michael, "He suffers from a disoriented sense of volumetric judgment," had me chuckling out loud. And those two lines don't even compare to how fabulous the rest of the story is, but there's simply too much to mention. You're too witty and amazing for words. Love it.
