10 Hiii - I'm only a few days into my new guiltiest pleasure, reading Jim/Pam fics, and I realllly love yours! They're making me wonder why I resisted Office fanfic for so long. This one would probably be my favourite - the last few chapters are just the most wonderful thing ever. So glad you're still writing more - I'll now sit back and eagerly await an update on "nearing the edge" :)

My favorite stories to write are the ones that just take hold of me and will not let go, so I ended up eating, sleeping, breathing them for a few weeks/months. (I realize I just outed myself as the world's biggest nerd....lol.)

Ok... wow... so I was just squeeing with my dear friend elodia47 about the lovely reviews on her HIMYM story Upwards Fall, which I beta'd :) and I was telling her how much I love your Office stories, this one specifically, and I came back to reread it and that's when I found out I had NEVER REVIEWED! I am so sorry stablergirl! How terrible of me! So I would just like to say that I love this story, it's one of my all time favourites, and the scene on the front porch kills me every time.

You know, the kind that makes your chest kind of constrict? Well as far as I'm concerned that's the mark of a good story (chest pain?? yes) and this one did more than most. There's just no way to say this without sounding trite, but seriously...always makes me happy to hear that I brightened someone's day! :o) And hoooo yes, I get the chest constricting thing (in fact, I worry that in every chapter of every fic I write, I describe Jim's effect on Pam -- or vice versa -- as causing the chest to tighten/constrict/swell/etc. Translated: I'm totally flattered that the chapter had that effect on you. :o)

Listen, you are totally within your rights to call me on that, because I inadvertently told a big old lie when I posted the last chapter (and worse yet, disrespected the forearms, gasp!). :o) Yeah, between real life and writer's block, this last chapter has been an absolute bear. It's been done for weeks and weeks, but something about it isn't ringing true for me. Hopefully it'll be posted within a few days.

What if Roy was lying when he said he'd never cheated on Pam? What if Pam was always a little less healthy than she let on? What if everything, everywhere, is only meant to fall apart?10 I see I have not reviewed this before - how terribly remiss of me! Love the story, the added darkness to it, and I adore how you used the song The Beauty of the Rain, which I also love so very very much. The scene in the staircase, when Jim told Pam that Roy was cheating on her, and commanded her to act suprised - I can picture it happening so clearly it's as if I watched it on some warped and angsty episode of the office. And that elevator scene!
Imagine Jim’s confession on Casino Night never happened and Pam actually made it down the aisle on June 10th . . . only to say “I don’t”.Oh my god, I can't believe I've been sitting around waiting for this to be updated when you'd already been posted the epilogue and I just didn't realise! Well this was remarkably fluffy, in a very good way. Ahh... reading new material from both you and girl7 on the same day; could life get better? :)
