This was such a lovely story - spot on annd very very well written.
Yup, it’s a post-Cocktails fic! With a bit of a twist. Karen does a bad thing, and Jim is about to suffer the consequences…I must say - this blew my mind away, especially your portrail of Karen which in my opinion was spot on.
Not to mention pam's feeling about Jim making a hasty exit. Or scrambled eggs.

Pam gets a taste of what her life could be like. AUI really loved this, it was a great (sweet, oh so sweet) story and I loved how you built on Pam´s feelings in every chapter.
Officer Barwick doesn’t get two words in. She knows what he’s come to say, deep in her heart, and her tears are halfway to her chin when he’s through. He tells her he’s sorry, but she knows it’s his job to say so. She’s sorry, too, but it’s not as if it will change anything.
It broke my heart in every way - all good but danr it if you didn't make me sniffle just a little :)

I am so glad that you decided to make this a longer story - It's happy happy time when you next update. So far though I really loved the nerves they are showing, it sounds just like them.
