This picks up pre-merger and is spoiler free, a bit AU as well. I began this back in October (maybe even September), and obviously the show has deviated quite a bit from what I speculated here.
This begins with angst, but there is a great deal of fluff, steam, smut, and silly...for several, several chapters. My idea was to go beyond the happy ending, so to speak.

Oh, I just really like the alternating POV's in this. The witty/fluffy JAM banter, and the poetic twin narration. So good. I can't even pick a favorite part.

Not for the faint-heartened - extremely dark Jim. Having read a self-help book on "moving on and getting on with your life" Jim Halpert starts a journal to get over Pam.
The stream of conciousness in the 4th/5th paragraphs remind me of Brief Interviews with Hideous Men by David Foster Wallace. Not quite at that level, but definitely the same style. Especially this line:
