hello. :) this fic might turn out to be something good. AND I shall hope that it does. A Grace fic has never been attempted here so I am looking forward to reading your NEXT chapter. Yeah, if Jim were single, I'd take him out too ;) though, I'm pretty sure I am too young :

I am a fluff fan but occasionally I read the angsty ones.

This was very very nice. I loved how you wrote it and how you got the tones of each character just perfect. It was...

angsty. To say the least. But, the angstiness is what makes this fic perfect. Because if you end it off happily, it won't be very great. It was meant to be angsty. I love it and I hope you write more fics that are angsty.

But, write fluff too. Too much angst makes me cry. I am a very easy crier.
I am not gonna throw any garbage. It was far too awesome and perfect. Actually, I was wondering how you'd feel being my beta reader?

Hello! I think this fic shouldn't be a one-shot. It should include alot more one-to-one interactions and other peoples reactions! I would give it two thumbs-ups! Continue writing more fic!

Author's Response: From your review to my keyboard.  Already working on some pretty revealing talking heads for the next one.  Hope you continue to enjoy it once I update.

Well, this was a good follow-up to your last chapter. It fills us in when everything happened, which is good.

I loved the first 'paragraph' before the ***. It was very nice and it told us anything we need to know. You got Toby's tone precise, as though you knew that he would frown upon seeing Pam's name as Pamela Halpert. You also got the unique tone of each person and it made the story sound somewhat, more REAL. Mainly, I think this was a very good chapter and I can't wait to see how the secret is leaked. :D

I love it. I mean mainly that's all I can say.

It was wonderful how you portrayed the characters very wonderfully and also how you got the tones of the characters perfectly.

I've read many fics about how the proposal didn't need fireworks or anything. But, the way you showed it, using rain and thunder, it was just wonderful. And you ended the story so well.

I loved it. Pam's answer was, in fact, so nice. I mean, people just write that she can hardly breathe when he proposes and she only has enough breath to give the simple yes. But, you wrote, and I quote, “Yes. Yes, of course, yes.” It was just way too perfect.

I loved it. That's all. I absolutely freaking loved it.

Author's Response: Wow. Thank you so much for the generous praise. I'm so glad you loved it!

Hi! Me again!

So, I loved the newest chapter. You know, I thought it was going to be one of those fighting phone matches where Jim and Pam both shout at each other through the PHONE.

But, you took to it to a whole new angle and it was wonderful. I mean, it wasn't angsty and you also got the tones all wonderful AGAIN. Actually, my favourite part was when Pam was like, I thought you were going to stand me up, or something.

It was awesome. And I loved like this entire story. You know, it's not those normal stories you read so much. This story actually brings points across and it seems like you wrote it because you want to put in your OWN views and you love writing the fic and you wanna just make people see in your point of views too instead of some idiots who just write for the SAKE of writing.

I think you earn alot of kudos for this wonderful fic. I will be your number one reviewer, I hope.

Wonderful, awesome and loveable. Keep up the awesome-filled work!!

Author's Response: Oh you are number one in my book!  Seriously, I'm not sure I deserve all your praise, but I surely appreciate it!  I work really really hard on realism, and character.  Sure, I'd love to write some glossy romance but in the end I just don't have it in me.  Again, not sure what that says.  But I learned so much about these characters the last few pieces I've written.  And I love when that happens.  I can't tell you have much it means to me that you took the time to review and I'm very happy you liked it.

I really liked it.

I mean, it kinda just spoke to me. It had the nice flow. Alot of fics don't have it and I like the flow of the storyline.

I have read so many fics about Jim if he did see the message. But the end of it just was just so thrilling. I mean you wanted to just read so much more. That simple "Why". It kind of just broke my heart a little because I can imagine Jim saying/typing that. His expressions and everything. I just adored it. Also, Pam's message spoke so much in a few words. It's quite wonderful if you can do that. I think this fic is like on my top 10!

It was just perfect.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, that means so very much to me that this fic reasonated with you.  I worked really hard on this part, and I'm glad that it rang true.  Thank you so much for the review.

HEY! I think that this is an awfully interesting way to write this story.

I think that the turn you took for the story was quite nice. How Jim and Pam haven't seen each other in 2 years and you know, had a reallly big falling out.

I think that the direction you take this story in would be awesome because the story itself is quite awesome. I love it.

Now, to my next issue...

what does that mean? because I honestly don't know. Hehe

Well, I loved it. You see, I love the Olympics. And reading about them just gives me a little tingly-ish feeling (especially if it involves my favourite ship!) So, I thought the fic was awesome.

On top of that, you seem to have made it so incredibly adorable! I thought that when you wrote that Pam like swimming and Jim retorted with "you like the swimmers', it seemed so Jim. I loved it and it was very clever.

Keep up the AWESOME work. :D

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I love the Olympics and I love Jim and Pam, so it seemed like a good combination. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

AWW. That was sweet and adorable (I told this to my sister a bunch of times and she ended up saying "OMG JUST SHUT UP!") I loved it.

It's the way you showed everything that made it so nice. Like, how there were 2 boxes. Positive and Negative, because he wasn't there with her in New York. It's just really sweet.

You got each character well sorted out and I can actually imagine each scene unfolding... one by one. It's amazing.

The gifts that Jim gave Pam was also very nice, to help her through these times. You made Jim sound like one of those Perfect Fathers (which I am pretty sure he will be) and it was really nice.

I loved it and keep up the GRRRREAT work!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for all the lovely compliments! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! :o)

You know, I think you captured the feel of the experience Pam had very well.

Starting off with saying what she left Scranton with and what she came back with was a perfect to begin.

"The dreams she’d traded for a report card filled with mediocre grades and a crushing sense of failure." - Loved this line, it kind of just seemed so natural for you to write something like that and it fit in with how the story was written. I loved it.

The middle was quite sweet. Her missing him and she felt like she was failing him because of how she was doing so badly.
I think it's great to see how she's not this great artist but more of a simple girl who adores art and has a bit of talent. It's a bit more realistic than some other fics.

The welcoming home part was really, very nice. Michael cares for his family and of course would tear up when meeting Pam again. Kelly would ask for celebrities she saw, what they were wearing etc.
But, my favourite part was the end, when you wrote "It felt like she was coming home" because as much as she's never admit it out loud, she always thought of DM as her second home with Michael as the dad.

Loved it!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, and I really appreciate you taking the time to be so specific about what you liked. I love Pam and want her to do well, but I also think it is realistic that maybe she's not going to be an art superstar. I'm glad you agree! Thanks so much, again.

Alright. While reading this fic, I was listening to Upside Down, by A-teens. It's the most adorable and cutest song EVER. So, you see, reading this fic and listening to that song at the SAME time, made it double cute and adorable.

I loved it. You know, the other FIRST DATE fic are so stereotypical. But this was so different it gave me this little grin on my face which I cannot rub off. I thought it was amazing and cute and adorable. You got a nice unique tone from each character. I can imagine each character talking the way you wrote it and, wow, I just loved it. I am thankful you didn't go too far and put any MA stuff in it because then I wouldn't be writing this at all. :P

It was A-W-E-S-O-M-E (say that like Kelly and you'll get more of a feel from it) I loveeed it and I hope to read more from you.

Author's Response: Well thanks! I hadn\'t read much first date fic, or any fic, at the point of writing this, and I guess that\'s a good thing. :) And for the record, it\'s not that I am opposed in anyway to Jim and Pam having some MA time, at all. I just really considered how I thought that first night would have ended. Turns out, it was just like this. :) So pleased you enjoyed the tale!

Alright. It was very, very unexpected. I thought that the little twist made the story much more interesting because without the twist in storyline, it'd be a boring story about how Pam remembers Jim and she's fine and doesn't have amnesia and it's all rainbows and butterflies.

I think the approach is really great and I can't wait to read the next chapter. Great work!

Author's Response: Lol! No rainbows and butterflies here. At least, not for a few chapters. I\'m glad this wasn\'t too predictable for you. Thanks for the review!

I have been reading your series of these script-like fics and I LOVEEEE every one of them. You know, the twists and how I can totally imagine each character saying what they say in this. It's just so funny and also sweet and cute. I think you should write more. it seems to be your forte so you should continue writing. I really like this. You know, you can capture so much from like a sentence. You know, I really love reading these well-written angsty fic because angst is not my favourite type of fic, but you seem to make me think so much about the little moments.. I really love it. I can't wait to read more. It was truly wonderful.

Author's Response: thanks so much!  this little ficlet is dear to my heart, because i felt like it was such an important moment -- before beach games, before the job, before things shook up for little pam beesly.  i'm really interested in pam's trajectory to where she is today and i had a blast writing this.
