I love thi story. I love the subtext in their conversations at the office, and the in between paragraphs about what they'd really done over the weekend. So sweet.
And I love this: after a few seconds she felt her hair slipping down her shoulders. His fingers ran lightly through the length of it, and then he gathered it into one hand and kissed her neck and shoulders until she had to steady herself against the desk. So sexy. Gave me chills.

I just reread this story for the first time in a while. I just love the slow build to such a beautiful moment. And the first time I read this, I didn't notice the parallels of what they're both thinking/feeling- feeling like they can't breathe, being afraid that it's a dream, etc.

This made me cry:
How he’d come home that night, barely managed to slip off his shoes and fallen into bed. How he’d sunk his teeth into the corner of his pillow and cried for two hours until he felt lightheaded and fell asleep.
