All I can say is WOW! This is the best story I've read. It is killing me not to know the end. Sounds like you've had some hard times lately. I am completely tied up in your story so I hope you can get to it one day.
This is a holiday inspired fic based on Season Two's Christmas Party. A look into what inspired Jim to get the teapot, and why Pam swapped Dwight for it. From there, it is an AU look at what happens when Pam realizes that Jim took back the infamous Christmas Card and why she's desperate to find out what Jim wrote.5 I really loved this story! You have a gift. You word things so well and the things that are said sound like something the characters would truly say and what they would really do.
What if Jim never went to Stamford? What if Pam started making life changes a little sooner?

5 Yeah for Chapter 3! Kali is my favorite ride in AK, and I visit All Ears alot. I really love how the dialogue is very true to the character's, especially Michael and Dwight. Can't wait for next chapter!

Pam struggles with doubt and suspicion when Jim's behavior over the summer doesn't make sense.6 This was so wonderful. I love that Pam's past with Roy still affected her, and I like that she wondered if Jim still loved her even after "the chase" was over for him. You really captured how much Jim loves her at the end. Now, if we can just get a REAL proposal that sweet!

She felt the gentle throbbing beneath the surface quicken almost imperceptibly. It occurred to her that she couldn’t get that intense a reaction from Roy if she reached out and grabbed his crotch.

10 I am really sucked into this story. We always saw a tinge of violence in Roy and that's usually where that sort of thing begins, so I hope you continue. I don't think your story is getting wierd...I think it portrays Pam during a time when she backslid a little because she was missing Jim. I can't wait to see where this is going and of course, when Jim is going to kiss all those bruises away!

5 Wowee! That was absolutely perfect. I have to say it was the closest I've ever read to what I envisioned in my mind that it would have been like. I thought the picnic on the balcony was very much something Jim would do.
I loved where they first see each other undressed and their reactions at having their first skin on skin contact with each other. Awesome, sexy and prefectly written!
