I just spent new years binging Bridgerton so seeing an update on this fic made me SO HAPPY. As always, I love it. I just love your writing style and the way you bring them to life in this time period. I also immediately thought that the ladies maid is a plant from Jim's parents to break them up. Clearly, been binge watching a little too much TV.
Truly love this, cannot wait for more.

I need to catch up on reviews for the other chapters because this is another fic I was so stunned to see updated I gasped. Honestly felt like a holiday morning. I was so excited. And such a great ending. I love the tease to another series of the Halperts (and baby) going on this adventure and revisiting some of the original characters. As always, I am a HUGE fan of your writing and style and really am thrilled to see this rounded out. Not sure if you're out on the fanfic as a whole but if this story continues with this adventure, I would 100% read it.

There's something you have in this chapter that really struck me, especially reading this VERY alt version of Jim. Specifically, the what happened to him between college and now to make him act this way. Is he a douche? Definitely. But something tells me he acts this way more to cope with something that happened. Or maybe not. It's really well set up to let the fireworks fly when they do meet and get started on this arrangement. I'm really excited for that.
I agree with warrior4. I had a really, really hard time reading this because of the format. The long blocks of text lose a lot of the good dialogue and internal thoughts. It's so cute so far but hope the future chapters will be easier to read and really enjoy the details.

Awesome chapter. I love how he found out, even if it would have been better to come from Pam. That was a “oh crap,” moment. And he was justifiably angry, seeing him let that out was a nice twist, as was her pushing back on the double standard. Really curious what happens next!

This was quite excellent. The ending with Roy and the coat was a perfect cliffhanger. Personally, while I was reading, I thought about how Pam could have covered the coat being in the hotel room, but when you're that drunk or hungover, logic and thought go out the window. And I'm glad we got to see Jim's mom a bit too. Super cute. Can't wait for more!

Awwww. I love that the pepper spray made an appearance again and that Pam got to meet Jim's mom and get some woman-to-woman advice. The end part w/the roses was so sweet too. Way to leave us hanging! Sad this is coming to an end but another fantastic chapter.

I cannot believe I never left a review of this chapter because I LOVE it so much and re-read it often. Truly, so perfect and enjoyable. You do such a great job of telling this little meet cute in London and it feeling totally real. I really love how you weave in these little details and nuances and details of him falling so in love with her that I miss sometimes on a first read but find nuggets of on a second or third. It is all tasteful and real and so vividly done. Honestly I’d read a full fic on it. Truly truly wonderful chapter. I could not love it more.

We came back stronger than a 90's trend
OH EM SQUEE. First, I was hoping you guys would do a series for Evermore but THEN TO SEE THIS??? Truly feels like Christmas morning and Santa read my fic letter. I’m obsessed with the first part of this story. And, like that, I had to read this multiple times to get all of the beautiful nuances.
I love how deep the love is here. There’s something so romantic about it. The certainty and intensity.
Karen making an appearance was perfect, especially how he handled it. I was kinda hoping we would see Danny and Jim at the restaurant opening (or if the “friend” was someone from his man whore days but maybe another time.
I didn’t totally get the ending. Or who he was talking to. I’m guessing that’s intentional but I’m curious. Maybe I missed something.
Anyhow, thank you for this delicious gift. I can only hope we get a bit more another time.

I'm so thrilled you are as excited to see London Jim as I was to write it! I really do love this universe as well. There are several things left open ended, like the restaurant opening, for later as I hope to get an opportunity to write some follow up chapters.
I'm sorry the ending wasn't clear. It was my rather poorly executed attempt to preview what was to come without giving away too many details and spoilers. It is supposed to be Jim beginning to propose to Pam. There were several internal and external things in both chapters that hinted that this was his eventual intention (visualizing them married, witnessing the proposal at the Trocadéro, etc.)
I apologize that wasn't as clear as it was in my head.

1 I'm so late in leaving a review but I LOVED this entire series. WHMS is one of my favorite movies too and I love that you didn't have their love story extend for such a long time like they did. The reunion was excellent, smut was hot and I love everything about this. So sad it's done but saved it to re-read in the future.
