Currently a poor college student living with the most tolerant roommate ever, one lion of a cat, and a beta fish that hates me. One day I hope to advance to being a poor writer instead, though I'd like to take the roommate, cat, and fish with me.

Oh how very touching. Sometimes I really do just feel incredibly sorry for Toby, not directly for things on the show, but for little things that he'll say about his life off-camera that just sound so sad. You've captured the essence of him perfectly here, and the ending was just happy enough :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I feel so sorry for him too, both for all the abuse he gets on the show and the little bits too about his private and family life. I just want something good to happen to him.

Oh I really liked this! Definitely brought back the memories of Season Three angst. I loved their phone conversation and how Pam knew he was making ravioli. It's just a little thing, but something that really highlights just how deep their relationship ran. I'm very excited to read the rest!

Do not even worry for a second about the smut...it was HOT. I can't believe you've never written it before! I really enjoyed the darker side of Jim, and it was still believable. Loved it!

Don't stop doing throwbacks, because they are awesome! I love this time period, for one because I'm a sucker for angsty things, and also because this stuff is so ripe for storytelling! I love what you've done here. The little details- the pink dress and his empty apartment- really make the story.
