10 Wait, what? No. Just no no no! There IS more, right? The 'completed: Yes' is a joke, yes? Epilogue? New York II? I'm, like, on my knees begging here!
For real, I did love this story and it ran the gamut, sending my heart up, down, sideways. From tears down my cheek, to wanting to rip-my-husbands-clothes-off-hot.
"Don't... Just, you know, as an aside? Don't write those kinds of things in a letter to me, okay? Don't stick those vague things in my desk." Mmmm Angry!Jim makes me smile!

So, it's snowing up to my eyebrows here, but this had me feeling warm and smelling the rain. I wanted to venture outside... until I remembered there is no green. Only white. Thank you for giving me the slightest bit of spring with this lovely story.

Set between S2 and S3 - fallout from Casino Night.10 I do hope you post here again. This was heartbreakingly perfect. So sad and cruel and it leaves me wanting more, more, more from you. Ribbon on your first story, too! They don't had those out too much anymore, but this so deserves it. You can feel his nervousness in the beginning and hear the sound of every brick being laid down for he wall he is creating by the end. I'm going to echo everyone else by mentioning the line- “Keep it,” he says, “I’m taking enough junk with me already.” It feels like a stab to the heart.

A snowstorm hits Scranton in February 2010. Someone had to go there, so I did.Ohh, can't wait for more. They'll get through it and even if they don't make it to the hospital, home-birthing is great (or so I've heard from a few friends!)

I'm smiling the whole way through this, trying to hurry and read to see what happens next, then (I have my hands curled together by my mouth with excitement) I feel wetness on my hands. I swear, I didn't know I was crying! I cry at anything and everything, but usually you get a lump in your throat and you wipe your eyes, sniff, etc. but I was so wrapped up in the excitement, I just didn't realize tears were down my face.
I am SO happy you've decided to write an epilogue, cause as perfect in every way as this is, I just need more!

Fun! I like how she realized Jim watched her when she wasn't paying attention and Roy never did. Also, that she knew what he was doing by the sounds he made. Good touches!

10 Christ! SO, so sad! I hate when Pam dies! This was well written and true to life. I can totally relate to this...
"And all I can do in those moments, as mindless as they are, is think, God, if you bring her back, I will do anything you or Pam or this baby or anybody ever wants me to do. And I mean it. I know I do. I'd quit this stupid job, or I'd work sixteen hour days. I don't care. I would do it. I just need her back."
And that, for me, makes this story so real, because I could see anyone making that promise and KNOWING they would, in fact, do anything just to have their loved one back.
Something happy now, 'K? Please? Or angsty with a happy (live-ly) ending. Whichever!

Pam showed up two nights later at Jim’s apartment, where she once again pressed her lips to his and told him that she didn’t know what she was doing, and he told her that he didn’t care, as long as it ended with her lips against his, her body pressed up against him, her hands tangled in his messy hair. I love season two angst and this is no different.
One typo I noticed, though:
"She found Jim and they ditched the party twenty minutes later, ending up back at his apartment, where his room, thankfully, was spending the night at his girlfriend’s."

10 I saw your name and freaked out! I really did. I was going to review this before I even read it just to thank you, thank you for coming back to write another story! This doesn't disappoint; not one bit.
In fact, this reminds me of your other story "For what I am when I am with you..." and man, do I love that one. It has the same speed-up-your-heart-rate pace that, at the same time, calms you.
Pam's nursery rhyme is much better than the original, which I never cared for, due to its materialist quality. It's sad that's what the world knows, instead of the buttoned-down lyrics Pam sings.
You have totally made my day being here again. The other day (last week) on the boards I was going to post "Sadly, it's been 5 months,today, since Stablegirl has been here and I miss her SO MUCH *sobs*" but I didn't cause I thought would much too extreme. And I didn't want to bring everyone else down by reminding them (out loud) of your absence.

10 It seems to me, in most fics, Pam does no wrong in Jim's eyes. I'm happy to see that she can do wrong, she can be bitchy, short, cranky. He knows it's hormones, so he tries to keep his cool. Feels very true to life! Thank you for posting for us all to enjoy!

Author's Response: I know, I thought about that too. But truthfully they only spent about 5 minutes together as teenagers. I don't think I'd recognize a lot of the people I met (and yes, kissed) as a teenager if they punched me in the face. So hopefully it works. Good question, though. Thank you for writing!

I really hope to see an update before Christmas, too. Because the wait on this? Killing me. This was worth the wait, though. I just don't even know where to begin. He's mine and my hair is, yes, naturally this beautiful." sounds like it would be straight out of my head if I was lusting after someones man and what I'd be thinking their gf was thinking (That makes more sense in my head, me thinks.)
