I'm sure I must have reviewed this before, but just in case - I really really hope Michael does give Jam a push.  Maybe not this obviously, but something!!  (Not that I don't like it your way - it's quickest!!) :-)

I completely love the Pam turnaround - I think it's completely believable in that she's in shock that things might actually work out, and then she realises "OMG - I just walked away from *that*?"  So she heads back to make the most of it.  ;-)

A very good transition, but of course I'm still stuck wondering how she could have walked out Saturday night! ;-D

I have faith in the essential wonderfulness of this story!!!!  Looking forward to Pam making it all up to him.  Poor Jim.  :-)

Writing in the first person is a very tough thing to do, but so far I think you're doing well.  I'll look forward to the next chapter

Thank you so much for commenting! I agree, writing in first person is VERY tough but I wanted to give it a try. My main purpose of this fic was for the reader to feel like Pam. Feel her emotions...and lets not forget..how it would feel to be with Jim.. :] Wouldn't that be nice? heh. Well thank you again for commenting!

a comment: When pam walks out of the office, I'm assuming Jim is following, but it doesn't read quite that clearly for me.   He is. right?  

I LOVE your LC-Pam - I could just feel all that bubblying over anger, and all well deserved, I think.  I await the next chapter VERY eagerly!!! 

You're chapters are a great length, don't apologize!  And your dialogue is awesome!  :-)

WOw - I can't believe I haven't read this until today!  Great characterizations - you got their voices dead on.  :-)

Author's Response: That's such a huge compliment considering that I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the end of 'My True Love' and 'Distance Learning'! And I'm always worried about going overboard with characterization, so thank you so much!!

awesome, awesome, awesome!  You got the voices down perfectly, and in the process actually got me to like River!  That's amazing in and of itself.  Now let's get Pam and Jim to go off on an adventure with the crew.  :-)


Author's Response: Thank you, thank you, thank you! Man, you don't like River? Yeah, in the series she was a bit of an annoyance but I thought she kicked all kinds of ass in the movie. But the fact that you liked her in this makes me all warm and fuzzy inside! Someday, maybe I'll have to explore this some more. The parallels were a lot of fun and I'd love to see Jim and Pam in space! Maybe Michael wants an escort for their cargo? Or to send a salesman to the outer planets?! Hee! Thanks Moxie... :-)
