The only problem was that she could also see the look on his face when he told her that it wasn’t working out, that she wasn’t enough for him, that for him the fantasy had been ten times better than the reality.

that was fun - good job! :-) I like the idea that they were secretly together. Make me want to go watch all of Season 2 again through new eyes!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I've been watching season two like a fiend, desperate for some cute moments because (with the exception of last week) this season is sorely lacking them. Lately, things like these moments have been standing out as "they could've been together" moments. Okay now this is getting really long, but I wanted to thank you for such a nice review... I absolutely love everything you write, and as a first timer, I figured I wouldn't measure up.
