For some reason my first review of this chapter didn't show up completely. Hmmph! Anyways ultimately what I was trying to say is the last part, where he's imagining what it would be like to have dinner at home with Pam is perfect, and I could see that happening to him in both Scranton and Stamford. Good stuff!

This is pure perfection! I love all of it, but the part about him wanting to remember the smell of the lotion in connection to the moment he proposes is fabulous! I get that, where a smell will remind me of something real specific, so I totally relate to that. This is a really perfect balance of angst and romance. Just perfect! I'm a lame duck when it comes to the boards. Always late to the party but I'm glad there was something out there that got you to write this great bit of jam fiction!

It's not often that a 55 word challenge can give me chills, but that's exactly what you just did. Though now that I read your end note, I liked the idea of Jim's dreams coming true in a longer piece of fluff, but this definitely delivered.

Aw! This second chapter had me on an emotional roller coaster with Pam! The part where she's thinking of the 'emotional upkeep' that whole paragraph made me tear up, the way you described how Jim was with her during her pregnancy was just so touching. And I adore how excited they both got when Cecelia started smiling and making sounds that could be a laugh. Their love for each other and for Cece jumps off the page. You are so good at this, Yanana. You've got both of their characterizations completely on in everything you write, and this is no exception.

This is a perfect mix of everything. The flow was great! :) I love how all it takes is for one of them to say I'm sorry and all is forgiven and right in their world. I love the simplicity.

Author's Response: My biggest frustration with Pam (and the show) is that I never got an apology/confession/blow out between the two of them after all their crap. I know it's not something that would probably be caught on camera, but I REALLY wanted to see Jim ask Pam, "why didn't you call?" So ... I got my wish, even though I had to write it myself. And I do think that all Pam (and Jim) had to do was say, "I'm so sorry, I miss you" and all would be pretty right with the world. Anyway, thanks for reading and reviewing!!!

This is awesome, this is awesome, and this is awesome. I am constantly amazed at how you do this so well, create such a vivid image in my mind that I can actually hear them saying these words. This is magical, the whole thing. I love drunk Jim, he's just always so wordy and goofy. I loved Pam in this, so sure of it all, so confident. And, the funniest, laugh out loud thing for me, was the Dwight bobblehead taking a tour of Scranton. That was completely hilarious! Lovely, lovely little fic.
