Wow. I never thought I'd enjoy an AU fic quite as much as I'm enjoying this. How you have Jim interacting with Ellie is seriously beautiful. I'm catching up with this story slowly, but I try and avoid WIP as much as I can, as I get really frustrated when something isn't finished. I don't think I'll be able to do that with this story. So please keep writing.

This is already so enjoyable to read. Jim as a daddy always weakens me at the knees. I want to know all about this little girl and his life before he moved back to Scranton.

I wish my husband was this understanding during my emotional pregnancy period. These little snippets in to their world always brightens up my day.

I think Paul should be fired from the show and you should take over his job. This chapter was phenomenal.

So many people tried to ruin this episode for me, but you helped me love it again. Pam challenging Jim to beat his time was something I really could see taking place.

Admittedly not my favorite, I did think it was funny, and had no problem with Jim being there. I'm happy that you liked it, I'm thinking they still have their friendship pretty solidly and would do silly things like that with one another. I love the scene where she's running her hand over his back, it's so them, and I thought maybe they'd be a little frantic at home with trying to figure things out, given they may be stressing over the babies and his job. I love this story, thank you for keeping us updated as often as you are. Really enjoying where you're going with it.

I tried so hard not to get in to this until I saw it had been completed, but I couldn't help myself. I have never read anything like this before and I'm really excited to see what you have up your sleeve.

So many other stories have Jim and Pam losing their temper with each other, and as much as I can sometimes see that have happening, this is what I imagine their talk to be like.

Author's Response: Oh I know, and for the longest time I thought that they really did yell at one another. But the more I've written and the more I've watched the episodes over again, I don't think they raise their voices to one another at all. No matter how mad they are with one another. I'm glad you like my take on things with this story, because I think that while they were really angry and hurt, they also love one another so much that they wouldn't raise their voices.

I was just sick a little in my mouth haha. You are a truly talented author, but this story wasn't for me, I find character deaths really hard to read. That doesn't mean it wasn't written well, you really know Jim's voice well.

Author's Response: First and foremost, I love your "nickname" PeePee. I'm sorry if this upset you - I tried to warn folks as best I could but without ruining the story twist. I didn't set out to write something like this, really, I was just listening to that song and wondering how I could write a story "about" it, and the only situation I could think of that Jim would "cheat" on Pam is if she had died. And the story just went from there. I promise to write something happy and fuzzy next time.
