(The only thing that is throwing me is, I'm assuming Karen's parents are from CT, but you keep mentioning her parents driving up to dinner, or Jim wanting to drive down to CT to see his friends, ...from PA makes no sense.)
But, other than that (and that I am a firm DENIER in the existence of Krazy!Karen) I love this story.
