I know this is an older story and you probably don't check reviews anymore, but your descriptions here are just beautiful. It reminded me of the first time I read an Anne Rice novel- I had those same feelings. Except for the painting stuff- I can't art so it just made me want to visit new Orleans rally, really badly.

I understand focusing on season 9 for this especially with Jim being so OOC but I just don't see much chemistry between Ryan and Pam. They feel like siblings who barely tolerate each other. But that's just my opinion.

Author's Response: What is OOC?  I'm a bit confused.  How did I focus on Season? Didn't mean to. I probably need to expand  all of my stories, not just this one.  I think I get so focused on finishing, I start to rush.  My next story( yet to be published) Pam At Pratt is a step in the right direction, I think.  Thanks, you saw things (that I also saw), that may make me a better writer, not just an idea man. I value your input! More response to Candi: Since Jim is asleep,not sure how to build the chemistry. Can you give me some examples of how they seem like siblings. I appreciate your comments.

I just figured this was set sometime in season 9 because that's when Jim wanted Pam to move to Philly. I meant I didn't see chemistry between Pam and Ryan over the course of the show. They always seem to fight like brother and sister. I guess maybe if you touched on that and said Pam and Ryan bickered because they were hiding a secret attraction, that might make it work? If you wanted to expand on it. Totally just suggestions.
