Well, I love this AU. I'm sorry you didn't finish it off, but since it was originally specfic I guess I get it. Lovely idea though, and while it's probably not fair to Karen, eh, who cares...

I think this goes beyond "not a dreamlike relationship" or "realistic" to out of character--though, sadly, the later-season writers seem to have been on your side. What makes Pam and Jim a good couple is precisely communication and partnership, which I don't think they've done almost any of since you first introduced the baby arcs. I can't see Pam not telling Jim about the first baby, and I definitely can't see them not learning from that experience.

I love this one. It is the rare short good fic that I don't even want more of because I think it hits its key moment at the right moment and it is just perfect as is.

I love this. From the timing of the initial premise to the endgame, it all forms a cohesive whole that's just so sweet and in character despite the AU.

I like this somewhat crazy Karen. I also wish she'd morph into kind!Karen and tell Jim, but I doubt that's where she'd go.

I can 100% see Dwight acting this way...
