I love Michael and Jan so much that just brought tears to my eyes! It's so effing real. I can hear Michael saying all those things (especially "You've seen boobs right?" BWAH!) and I can see Jan being torn between revulsion and lust. Perfect.
Also perfect? The teasing between Jim and Pam about being required to have sex. I could envision that whether they were actually hooked up or not!

That was just beyond brilliant. I WANT this to happen! Seriously, how dawesome would it be to actually watch Michael Scott trying to set up an already secretly dating Jim and Pam? "Who'd give a baby arrows? They're dangerous..." BWAH! And I can see them admitting to Jan that they're already together but Jan telling them to let Michael think he pulled off the matchmaking. Because Jan loves Michael. And that is the way the world should be. Yay!
(Also, what kind of a hell beast would be unleashed upon the unsuspecting world if Jim Carrey's character from Cable Guy and Michael Scott were to meet up at the Medieval Times? Eep!)

I can't even process all the brilliance right now to write anything resembling a coherent review! It was just...wow. Agh! Karen! Again with the timing. Ouch. Such a great condensation of the entire damn relationship--or lack thereof. And I loved the "This must be how Kelly feels" line!
Minor quibble: As she walked into the ladies room It took me a second to figure out which "she" you meant. I think identifying her as Karen since it's a new paragraph would be a bit more clear. But really, very minor because I honestly enjoyed this story so much.

OMG. I was reveling in the honest voice you've given Karen. That it was so nice to finally get a glimpse of all the things that keep her with Jim, since so much fic focuses on all the ways that she causes him to change who he really is. I love the mosquito metaphor and the barely suppressed jealousy and the neat interweaving of the actual show moments. And then you leave the chapter break with the impending Roy beat-down and I have to go home and not finish because my ride is on the way! GAH!

It really hit home when Karen realized that Jim actually forgot she was there. I actually forgot to break up with my then boyfriend when I met my husband. Oops.
I loved the parallels of the non-answers. Sure Pam may give them to Roy and Jim, but Jim also gives them to Karen and sometimes even Pam.
