Summary: Pam said she wanted to take things slow. So this is how it all goes down (in some cases, quite literally). The aforementioned, multi-chapter, essentially plotless smut-fest that I've been promising. Essentially smut for smut's sake, since we really saw next to nothing on air. Enjoy ;)

Well, this whole 'taking things slow' thing they've got going on has gotten them into quite the sticky situation.

Please don't ever stop writing this. It's too good. We're all going to hell anyways, you'll be in good company.

You're getting a review for each chapter of this one, so buckle up.

"He had definitely kept his tongue to himself the last time. As he gently sucks yours into his mouth, the sensations have you thinking that, if he hadn’t, you probably wouldn’t have said I can’t." That's my favorite line in this chapter - it's pretty much perfect.

I always love the stories where they decide to take it slow and it backfires. Can't wait to see who wears who down first!

There's a line in this one, where Pam is proud of Jim for taking initiative that just kills me. Pam's character throughout this is delightful.

This is me petitioning you to write a "Jim Halpert's Greatest Hits as a Boyfriend" fic. You know, in your spare time.

Because, as this chapter proves...he's a *really* great boyfriend.

JIMOTHY! Back alley/parking lot of a bar sexy times is always a gold star from me. Well done!

I also enjoyed the line about nose powder, the girls (and Ryan). Good one.

Author's Response: Ha! Thanks, I for sure did that on purpose. The powder line anyway. Jim in a back alley kind of happened on its own... oops

Well, Drunk Handsy Pam is a good time, isn't she? And here I was scandalized by Jim in the last chapter... Pam comes along and takes it up a notch.

I like it. I like it a lot.

Author's Response: Drunk Handsy Pam has a bit of a problem with keeping her hands to herself, but I don’t thjnk jim will mind too much, especially in later chapters... ;)

So a thing I've noticed in this fandom is that a lot of people like to make Pam shy and unsure when it comes to this particular activity. What I love most about this chapter is that you went the opposite route. Not only is Pam all for it, but she's barely asking as she's more demanding it. And enthusiastically reciprocating.

Get it, girl. Get it all over that office next time. (Or eventually.)

“Maybe candles are involved. Maybe they aren’t.” You’re hilarious. Really.

I love the back and forth, with each of them managing to get the upper hand... so to speak. Sexy times aside, I absolutely love the banter in this chapter.

James Duncan, indeed.

Author's Response:

I two-hundred-percent did that candle thing for you guys ;)

Also, full names are my weakness. James Duncan will more than likely make a reappearance.

AGIAN MARIE! (I too, like using full names and Marie is a solid middle name for scolding anyone, right?)

I’m not scolding you though. I’m too impressed. How did you manage to write a chapter that was so damn sweet and adorable but at the same time, completely inappropriate in the best of ways? That’s talent.

I was completely entertained by this chapter, especially Jim’s housing and lingerie reviews. And who doesn’t love a solid Friends reference?

Author's Response:

Oddly enough, you guessed my actual middle name on the first try. Oops~

I can’t even answer that question. This entire chapter just kind of manifested into a big ball of sexual fluff that left me very red faced, so I’m glad it worked 😂

Jim’s little reviews were my favorite part to write! And I totally did the Friends thing on purpose. Glad you caught it 😉

Thank ya thank ya!

9 minutes. *giggles*

Listen, I think we can all agree that Taco Bell is a magical place where wonderful things can happen. And the image of Jim folded into the backseat of a Saab is pretty dang magical.

Add Jim's "I'll wait as long as you need me to" speech to the top of his Greatest Hits as a Boyfriend list because everything he said here is swoon-worthy.

Author's Response:

I was going to make it 7 but figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt.

But yeah. Something about making their first time all magical and sh*t didn't seem right. I had to throw in a curveball.

I think we just need to keep a running tab of "Jim Halpert's Greatest Hits as a Boyfriend," honestly.

Taco Bell is magical under the right circumstances. Like when cheese is involved.

Oh, this chapter.

I knew Angela's story was going to be sad but I still wasn't ready for it... I'm glad she was able to talk to Jim about it and that they were able to have that bit of a bonding over survivor's guilt.

And I especially love that even in her own grief, Angela just can't believe how dumb and naive Jim and Pam are concerning their little situation. Her passive comments were peak Angela.

Oh Jim. Oh Pam. The Larissa flashback/dream were lovely and sad all at once and I know that Jim's going to protect Pam the best he can but like, I'm not sure I'm emotionally ready to handle those kinds of scenes.

Everyone's going to be okay in the end, right NLM? RIGHT??

Author's Response: I mean do you really want me to give it away? (Also you’re assuming I even know what’s gonna happen 😆) thanks for your review. Writing a believable Angela is what I’m the most nervous about so I’m glad to hear I’m at least keeping her in character.

One of the things I love most about this story is that every single time, I get caught up in what's happening in the scene, I'm so invested in what's going on that I completely forget that oh hey, there's a demon and it's going to try to kill them.

I should have known that was coming while they were at the stream, but I honestly didn't. You got me good, there.

Dwight continues to delight me in the way only Dwight can, and I love that you're able to ease in the Pam/Dwight friendship. That was such a great little scene between them. Still worried about Angela though.

Poor Jim. Listen, I don't know what you have planned but here's the thing... I don't think he can handle another loss, so let's not lose Pam, okay? Okay.

I really love this a lot.

"He was sure he didn't look handsome at all, he looked like a dumb office worker who couldn't stop gawking at a pretty girl." This was my favorite line out of the entire chapter - its so good!

"Jim couldn't resist a little teasing, lifting his head and putting his finger to his lips to shush her. Pam pressed her lips together in a tight smile and lifted a finger of her own, her middle finger" is a close second in favorite lines. That one made me laugh out loud.

As for that final scene, I mean, it was perfect and lovely and steamy and all the right things.

I'm very worried about Angela, though.

Author's Response: Thank you so much Coley, this was a fun chapter to write. We should start learning about Angela soon...

I was so sad at the beginning of this chapter when they had to leave the cabin, but it's all okay because they're each other's homes now. *happy sigh*

Oh man... Shrute Farms.. this is going to be good!

Talk about a Friday cliffhanger! I’m sitting here on the edge of my seat worried not only about the silencer breaking into the cabinet but also the “them” of Jim’s dream. Hmm...

The flashback to Jim and Larissa was done so well, and I loved how you even managed to incorporate a little bit of ‘Receptionist Pam’ in at the beginning. Really can’t wait for the next update!

Author's Response: Yay I'm glad you said something about Receptionist Pam, I thought that was a fun little tidbit. After much delay the next chapter is up!

I'm amazed at how well you nailed Dwight and Angela's characters without any actual dialogue. That was brilliant! Also loved the inclusion of a paper airplane and the 1 in 6 odds of being murdered. And of course, Jim and Pam's silent banter is still spot on!

Author's Response: I can see that little scene with Dwight throwing a paper airplane at them so vividly so I’m glad you picked up on that. Also literally every line uttered at Schrute Farms in Money was perfectschlag so some homages were needed like the called back to the 1 in 6 XD

"I'm not actually thinking about leaving in the spring, you know?" I might have clapped my hands at that line - it was just so sweet and lovely and completely in character that I loved it a lot.

This chapter was so suspenseful! You wrote the mix of subtle Christmas cheer and the fear of being attacked so well and I love that they're becoming closer as time goes on... and the card! Of course there was a card.

I can't wait to see what happens next!

Author's Response: Thanks for your review, Coley, I debated that line a lot so I'm happy to hear it works. next chapter finally up!

I totally wasn’t thinking “just read the letter already, Pam!” through that first half. That’s just me being impatient though. I loved her powers of deduction.

And then she read it and it didn’t disappoint! Well done!

They’re so dang cute together in this. I’m going to miss this story when it’s done.

p.s. - hope the move went well 😊

Author's Response: Haha. I must admit, I had been setting up a lot of Jim the previous chapter so it didn't seem fair to make Pam jump right into the card. But I too was wondering when I'd get to it ;). Glad it didn't disappoint! And yes, the move went well, thanks.

The note! While I really think taking it with him and burning it in Australia is something he would have done, I'm really glad he never made it there. Now I can't wait to see what it says!

Author's Response: I hope that what I wrote works for you :). I do think Jim would have gotten some solace from that sort of ritual, though of course in canon he never did it (since it reappears later on).

Oh Jan. I was about to be really mad at her for shattering their work-free bubble but she turned out to be pretty helpful by the end there, didn't she?

Here's hoping Jim thinks this is good news too?

Author's Response: Of course he does :)

Reviewer: Coley Signed

I really like here how they're handling Jim's transfer to Stamford like adults and not freaking out over it.

Author's Response: That is important to me too, thanks.

Reviewer: Coley Signed

Oh, I liked Pam comparing Stamford to Roy here, and her internal struggle with which was worse. That was a really great section and a new way of looking at the situation.

Author's Response: Oh good. I wasn't sure how that comparison would come across, so hearing this is a relief.

Reviewer: Coley Signed

Ugh, Stamford.

What I love here is that Jim and Pam are so happy that she can’t even leave his room to let him rest, but that’s fine because he won’t sleep because he can’t stop looking at her. You’ve nailed down the best part of a new relationship even if they are stuck in a hospital.

Author's Response: Thanks! This is an element I feel we missed a bit in the actual show because of the summer break, so I like adding it in here.

Aww, I love that they had to kick Pam out of the room so Jim would sleep. And that last line has me smiling a lot.

Author's Response: Aw, good. I was hoping for those two reactions, so I'm glad they came through :-D

Reviewer: Coley Signed

Aww, they're flirting!

I really liked Jim admitting that he had been unfair to her with the choose me or lose me mentality he had on Casino Night.

Author's Response: I think that's a really important part of their healing, so thanks.
