I was going to post a comment a couple chapters ago about how much I'm loving this story, but then MTT was all down so I didn't get to.

I was giddy with how much I was loving this story last time, but now you've got me all depressed. I was hopeful that the line "...there are other funny, sweet, smart women out there. He just needs to try to find a way locate one in his real life." (from J/K) meant that he wasn't gonna date Karen, because while Karen's plenty smart and I don't hate her the way some do, I don't think "funny" or "sweet" are words I would use to describe her.

But now you've gone and made him date her and he's all "there's no way JIM would give PAM another chance" and I just...waaah! :(

I want to tell someone how depressed I am about it, like I do with tv shows, but those people are not fanfic readers and will just look at me funny. *sigh*

I also totally have a scene in my head for how Jim and Pam could figure out they're talking to each other. That's right: I'm creating fanfiction fanfiction.

So that's an extremely long way of saying this story rocks. But also I'm sad so can you give me some glimmer of hope please? Also, write, like, three chapters a day, ok? Or maybe ten. Or twelve. WANT MORE.

jhalpert@gmail.com is the address Pam told TeamJim to create to pretend he was JIM. And they've emailed back and forth with him using that account. I guess it was to a different account of hers, but I can't help but feel like, when she's used to getting stuff from that account from TJ, which she clearly enjoys getting, she would be really likely to notice that this email is from that account.

Wow. Only Pam and Jim would be able to do this, pretending to be not themselves knowing they are but being unwilling to face it even when they desperately want it...what a mess. It's the kind of thing I never would have thought of, but you pull it off so well.

The second time I read this chapter it made me cry.

PLEASE tell me you're going AU with this story. So far it's conceivable that this isn't AU, and, oh my god, if you're going to make Jim not break up with Karen for THE REST OF THE SEASON? I can't take it. I just can't.

Ha. Enjoying it. Spent awhile trying to fully pronounce "Imaginatory… ily" in my head...nice Michaelish word.

One little nit to pick: the baby isn't Boomer's--it's Sharon's, or Athena's. Yeah, they're the same cylon model, but the show differentiates between the two of them, and I think Dwight would too.

(I guess this is where I'm supposed to hang my head in embarrassment over my dorkdom, but a) not ashamed; BSG is awesome and I have long since made peace with my obsessive fannish nature, and b) I'm posting this at a fanfic site, so....yeah.)

This fic makes me... uncomfortable.

I'm a JAM shipper to the core, and this version--with Jim idolizing Pam instead of, like, bestfriending her, just...the problem is that you portray it in such a convincing way--you've thought it out well, with the way the documentary affects Pam, and all that time apart making Pam larger than life for Jim--and that makes my insides hurt. Pathetic, I know. I keep wanting to quit reading but you write the story so well that I keep coming back.

I'm never gonna go for the Pryan, never ever, but in a fic like this, I can at least understand people who do.

Ok. I'm going back to my happy place now, where Jim and Pam are best friends. Best! Friends!

ahh...your lovely metaplots where the airing of the show affects the events just never get old. (Or repetitive; you keep finding new twists. Which is fun.)

Question: What is the postmark on the envelope of that letter? That's definitely the first thing I'd look for if I got a letter from somebody.
