Three little facts about me:

1) I'm a work-from-home mom from Kyiv, Ukraine.

2) I'm super late to the party, but  I do my best to turn my excitement with the show into the content (hopefully, qualitative).

3) I care about Pam Beesly more than about any other fictional character in all the existent fandoms.

Yay for koalas!
And, I'm not sure, but, perhaps, it's time for Jim and Pam to make some pleasant boat-related memories :)

Author's Response: Thank you!

'But every day could be the first time she did something.'
I like it. I like it very, very much. Things she's done a million times before seem new because she does them now happy and together with Jim. It's so sweet.
Or, perhaps, I'm just being sappy now...

Author's Response: Thank you! I am very sappy as an author and a person, so that's how I roll too...

Awww, how being in love changes people! And it's lovely that they can talk even about things they consider embarrassing.
Very sweet chapter!

Author's Response: Aw, thanks!

So, this chapter was quite enlightening. After reading it, I spent some browsing (more than I expected), and have to say that the cases of the Argonauts and hyenas, perhaps, amazed me the most.
Also, gastro tourism — it the best kind of tourism I know. *sigh*
Hope they make it to the opera in time :)

Author's Response: Glad you browsed around! I am also a gastrotourist, and I wish I could be one right now...so this is some wish-fulfillment. Thank you for the review!

I don't know what to say about this chapter except that it makes me happy. The whole story makes me happy. So... thank you!

Author's Response: That is the goal! So I don't think there's much more to say. Thanks!

The emotional part of my brain: *doesn't even bother to stop giggling*
The rational part of my brain: oh my gosh, koalas. Koalas! How could I forget about koalas? I hope once they finish dealing with Jan and whole Stamford turmoil, they'll remember they are tourists (!) in Australia (!) and have some time to see koalas.

Author's Response: I think they will remember. After all, what else would they have to think about? Thank you for the review!

My inner giggly teenager returned!
And I amaze how perfectly you pictured the mood without, well, uprating. Lovely!
I'd like to see Jan's response, but, to be honest, I'm more interested in... other conversations ;)

Author's Response: Aw, thanks! :)

Yep, as I thought, it was amazing! I have a feeling that with Jan they'll change the tactic. Also, I have a feeling that I just need to sit and wait :)
Oh, I was thinking about Operation Indiana (or Operation 'Switch the Idol'), but then I remembered that in the movie it didn't work well, so I ran out of ideas :/

Author's Response: Thank you!

This chapter made me sure of three things:
1) Cliffhangers are good only when you're sure there will be the continuation soon;
2) I'd like to see more cunning plans from Jim and Pam! I have no doubts they are a perfect team, but knowing and watching - two different things :)
3) I dislike Ryan. I dislike him so much that I'll write a story in which I'll kill him the most devious way I could invent. That's my (belated) resolution.

Author's Response:

1) I hope that this lived up to that.

2) See 1.

 3) Me too! Please please please write that.

 Thank you!

Okay, to be honest, I didn't expect at all that artsy-fartsy Pam Beesly was (and is) such a sports fan. But, I guess, it's quite logical (unexpected, but still logical) and it's nice to look at the character from a different angle :)

Author's Response: I think she'd have to be, to survive relationships with those guys. Also remember who said she was artsy-fartsy! But thanks :)

Reviewer: Dernhelm Signed

It seems like they'll have pretty busy days, but I'm wondering how much attention, in fact, they'll pay to rugby, opera, and another rugby?
I have a feeling that not so much...

Author's Response: Thank you! You'll see ;)

Reviewer: Dernhelm Signed

Yay! It's the perfect place for them to meet! I suspected that they stayed in the same hostel (and somehow would meet there), but your way is sooo much better.
Perhaps, my joy is a tad early since they haven't spoken yet, but I'm just happy now :)

Author's Response: Thank you! If you'd like to see them speak, next chapter is up.

Ah, the way they two switched their conversation from intense and serious to silly and light is so endearing. And the whole 'lost in the city and don't care about it' thing is sweet.
I like this line: 'even that minor honesty with Jim was somehow a relief of the years and years of repressed feelings and unclear expressions.' Perhaps, I like the way Pam is free (kind of?) from things that hold her back at last. Perhaps, I just like them both happy :)

Author's Response: I like that too :) Glad you think this is delivering!

Things I like:
1) Lists;
2) Pam being not ready to move immediately after Jim, and Jim understanding that;
3) Pam's worries about holding Jim back from better career and life;
4) The amount of time between Jim ate ice cream and noticed its taste.
5) Cliffhangers and anticipation of what will be next!

Things I dislike:
1) This chapter ended.

Author's Response:

Things I appreciate:

1) This format

2) Your review

Things I hope you'll enjoy:

1) The next chapter.

I don't like angst for the sake of angst, but this is an important one. I wonder how they sort things out and hope for better.
Oh, and that moment, when Pam noticed how crushed Jim was and how she reacted to it. She is so understanding, and it's melting my heart.
Thank you!

Author's Response: Plot angst it is! And soon to be over. I like understanding Pam, and I think she makes the story better. Thank you for the review!

Reviewer: Dernhelm Signed

Oh, insistent Pam is something incredible! And it's nice that she can be honest with Jim and tell about her own thoughts about dates numbers 1 and 2.
Oh, and 'Campbell's Condensed Soup of Wonderfulness' is a fantastic comparison.
Can't wait to see the dinner :)

Author's Response: I hope you liked the dinner! Thanks :)

'We’re a couple.'
Finally! Finally! I'm going to celebrate that! Thank you :)
*dancing a little kitchen jig.*

Author's Response: You're welcome! I hope you had a nice dance :)

Awww, it's so cute how they go back and forth between teasing and flirting! I enjoy every piece of their exchanges :)
Thank you!

Author's Response: Thanks :)

Yep, I'm still grinning :)
And it's especially nice that they have quite similar worries, expectations, and lines. They finally (I guess?) on the same wave, so yay for that!
Thank you!

Author's Response: Thank you! I appreciate this a lot.

I read this chapter three times so far, and I'm grinning like an idiot right now because they are so them. Their communication is unbelievably sweet and witty. And there are so many lines I like (Pam's realization that Jim didn't expect to see her at all and Jim's understanding that no, he wasn't insane are precious), but the final line 'you're not getting away again that easily' is just the best.
Thank you so much!

Author's Response: Thank you! I hope I can keep that up!

Oh, such a nice chapter! The thing I always find extremely difficult and painful - dealing with cancellation of the wedding, lots of explanation to all relatives, etc. But I'm glad that Pam dealt with all of it and not just rode off into the sunset. It's realistic, and it's the right thing to do.
I'll wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Oh, thank you! I am trying in this one to make Pam as thoughtful as I think she should be, and that includes dealing with the aftermath (before fleeing to Australia, of course). I'm glad that's working for you!

Jim eats, Pam runs, they do quite simple things, and at the same time, they're getting close. It's delicious anticipation, and I can't wait to see what happened when her plane land!

Author's Response: Thank you! I hope you keep anticipating (although I'll promise that there will also be more beyond that moment).

This chapter so unbelievably sweet and sad. I'm almost crying because of so many sights of how much Jim and Pam's lives intervene together. He chose the city she'd drawn and talked about, she heart 'their song'... And oh, this moment 'what should I have said' - it's so believable!
And I like the moment with German tourists; it's so fun! I've been learning German in the uni and totally agree with Jim - if you don't know for sure the praises and the curses sound the same way :)

Author's Response: Thank you! I had fun making up the Jim connections, but the Pam ones are of course easily found in canon--which I think is the best way to fanfic.

I'm glad you are back! And it's such a nice update. We all know how hard it is for Jim to distract himself from Pam, but his attempts are so good; besides, it's lovely to see some cultural differences (and his reactions on them). And Pam... oh boy, I hope she won't be wandering around for too long.
Thank you for the new chapter :)

Author's Response: Thank you! We'll get more of those, because reflecting on Australian cultural differences is fun for me to do. She'll wander a bit--but I promise I won't drag it out unnecessarily.

I'm slightly embarrassed to confess, but I had to google to get the 'Friggitoria' joke... The educational function of fanfiction as it is, and I love this!
Also the whole line 'I already knew everything I needed to know about Australia before I came here' is so sweet... but Pam is kinda not the best tourist in the world :)

Author's Response: I mean, she's not. At least in this story. And it's always fascinating to know what is American-specific slang! Thanks :)
