I'm catching up with your story, and I regret I didn't do that weeks and months ago, because it's so, so good. I like the setting, the way Pam got rid of Roy, Jim's sweetness, the fact that they didn't jump into relationships immediately, but having time to build the friendships (but, oh my gosh, the word of the day game was unbelievably flirty and tender), the snippets of canon weaved so neatly into a new universe... and, of course, cliffhanger. I still have no idea what happens next, but I'm full of anticipation!

Oh, poor Jim. He suffered so much... and yet, he's still so kind and caring — how does he save the ability to joke around and trust people (okay, not all people, but Pam for sure) after all? This man is perfection. And I take back my words about cool-sounding killer — a smart guy who breaks the codes is way cooler!
And other things. Hot. Very hot. I still feel slightly awkward and uncomfortable around mature themes, but it was good. I like the way you included the snippets of canon conversations, and I adore that Pam mentioned Michelangelo... she's an artist even in moments like that, and I appreciate it.
Try to keep my reading rhythm :)

Author's Response: It can def be awkward writing/reading the steamier stuff, but I’m glad you still liked it! I like to keep it realistic and jokey and not always so intense, because even I find myself blushing and dancing around the intimate details. I’m so glad you liked this chapter!

I swallowed the last three chapters in a row, and now I'm suffering from withdrawal. I hope you'll update soon. I beg you for it.

P.S. A few months ago, I made a belated New Year's resolution about killing Ryan in my own fic. And your story made me even more determined about keeping it.

My heart is so full right now, I feel overwhelmed a little, and I think I need to fan myself. I'm sad a little that this journey is over, but I'm so glad about the way it ended!
I like stories that end in the same place from where they start, and this one is... perfect. Especially because it shows how much Pam changed, and I'm so happy to watch her that happy and careless, Fancy New Beesly. And Jim, he's the sweetest boyfriend ever. The girls' reaction to his PDA was so cute!
And... the book. Did I mention that I love their words game? Again: I LOVE it! And the choice of the word is perfection.

Oh my God, that's fantastic! Just fantastic! From first to the last line! Thank you for such a great story! (and sorry for the number of exclamation marks).
I especially love their almost fight and their conversation after. It was so achingly, heartbreakingly sweet... And the whole tease game was pretty fun too!
And I bet the Thanksgiving would be amazing :)
I'm ashamed, but I have watched neither 'Dirty Dancing' nor 'Grease.' I have probably to catch up.
Oh, and all of a sudden I feel an urge to buy a pair of white keds :)

I love it. I like every angsty bit of it, and I adore every fluffy and steamy part of the story. Perhaps, I don't enjoy the idea of teachers, engineers, and students, but... well... it's entirely believable.

As much as I like them to find out about their mutual feelings via fight or hard talk, there's something endearing in confessions via letters. It makes me warm and fuzzy and sends me so many Jane Austen vibes that I feel an urge to put on a bonnet and drop a few tears (in fact, I feel a lump in my throat reading Pam's letter, so I guess that counts).
And I like it so much that they didn't jump into relationships immediately but wanted to make things right. Just awww!

I'm a little bit late, but nevertheless. I like this story! At first, I was confused a little when Jim fainted, but then I saw that behind-the-scene video... you played that beautifully!
I'm not sure if I'm in awe or terrified of such a powerful team Jim and Pam became. The way they defeated Roy and Danny - it was something. I was a little bit uncomfortable with the cheating scene, though, but it gave us Jim's astonishing speech about his coworkers, and I love it!

The whole cliffhanger ended every chapter was a fun challenge. I've been long on the opinion that when Jim and Pam are truly in sync with each other they're a force to be reckoned with so thanks for picking up on that. I'm glad you enjoyed reading this so much.

Such a lovely story! I like the way the fairy tale came into Pam's life and especially grumpy Jim. And Kelly as the mastermind, of course :)

It's a fantastic story. I've re-read it at least three times, and I'm not going to stop :)
You nailed the characters perfectly. Pam is sweet, and I love so much her high morality - even if it hurt herself, she would do things right. Jim is absolutely adorable, and communication between January Jim and December Pam is a gem. I have mixed feelings for Karen (honestly, I don't like to hate her, but I wanted to turn off the show every time she appeared on the screen), but in this story, she is quite lovely. And the fact she could make some kind of friendship with Pam... oh my, I have a kink here, I guess :)

I feel the same way about Karen... She’s the worst, but also she’s totally not. She’s so much more like-able when she bows out diplomatically, early on. It’s too bad it didn’t really happen that way...
