Wow, I can really see and feel Pam’s pain
here.
Jim definitelywas an ass in season three, and nine.
Both of those seasons showed a very unattractive, and even narcissistic, side to Jim’s personality.
Also it really annoyed me how Jim’s treatment
of Pam was never really addressed in season three. The writers made it seem that just because JAM were finally together in season four, Jim’s horrible treatment of Pam simply disappeared.
In both seasons Jim had the attitude of thinking he was entitled to treat Pam like trash because she didn’t give into what he wanted. Also Jim had the tendency of looking down on Pam and acting like she would be nowhere without him. So it’s no wonder Pam felt that she wasn’t enough for Jim, it was because he treated her as such. Actions really do speak louder than words when it comes to love.
So it’s no wonder Pam’s feelings in those seasons were that Jim didn’t think she was enough for him, and perhaps, even unwanted.

Jim wanted Pam to make a move to him about her feelings, but ignores the fact that he has given her plenty of reasons to think that he doesn’t care about her anymore. I think that shows how Jim didn’t handle things very well in season 3.

You're right that Jim's behavior in S3 isn't great, particularly near the end, but I have a great deal of sympathy for him. He was rejected twice (three times if you consider Pam's lack of contact after breaking things off with Roy) so regardless of his persisting feelings for her, I genuinely believe a lot of his behavior was out of self-protection.

Jim treating Pam like trash, while acting as
if he’s so sweet and innocent is the main reason why I couldn’t stand him in season three(and nine).
Jim is the one who started the problem with Pam in the first place. I can’t say I blame Karen’s parents for not being happy about their daughter moving to another state for a guy she hardly knows.
Typical Michael making everything about himself.
Even though Pam is grieving for her friendship with Jim, that grief can help her move on, and become indifferent to Jim and Karen’s relationship. 🤔
Pam doesn’t need someone in her life that will treat her like someone less than worthy. That’s what Roy did.

Jim is such an ass, and he can’t even see it because he’s too busy playing the poor me card.
Karen is a sad woman. Chasing after a guy who she knows really doesn’t want her, like a teenager with a crush. She took a risk of letting herself get hurt.
I have no sympathy for Karen when it blows up in her face.
Pam has every right to be hurt and angry at Jim.
By saying it was just a kiss to Karen made seem as though Jim only told Pam he loved her to get in her pants. If Pam were to start giving Jim the cold shoulder it would be understandable.

Jim is really getting on my nerves.
He uses Karen as a buffer between Pam and himself,
but he can’t see that Pam is doing the same thing with Roy because of Jim. 🤦r05;a92;a039;
Jim can’t see that he’s the one pushing Pam towards Roy because he’s too busy thinking about his own hurt feelings, and treating Pam like trash.
I can understand why Roy would want an explanation for Pam breaking up with him right before their wedding. However, I can see why Pam wasn’t completely honest with Roy considering how crazy he can get, and especially since Jim was gone to her.
In many ways Jim is no better than Roy. Both guys are very selfish, juvenile and makes their relationship with Pam all about themselves. At this point in the season Pam (and even Karen) should have told Jim to F off.

The attack scene was well written. It was like
it was happening in slow motion. Jim can be cruel,
but at least he had the decency to apologize.
Plus,I have to give him credit for admitting that
he deserved to get punched by Roy.
Unfortunately, Pam didn’t speak up for herself
and was honest about the real reason she
got back with Roy, because it was Jim’s fault.
Karen is predictable and territorial.
She is Jim’s Roy. Except with violence, Karen uses
words.

Jim is really trying to hard to be in a
relationship with Karen(and her with Jim).
They simply aren’t compatible. So even if there
was no Pam, they aren’t right for each other.
Their complete lack of chemistry is a big sign of that.
So like I said before, Karen is Jim’s own Roy.
Pam’s mom is right in that Pam should tell Jim how she truly feels, and if he doesn’t reciprocate,
which we know he will, at least Pam will know the truth, instead of wondering about what could have been. That way Pam would also be able to move on.

Karen really is a sad and desperate woman.
She should really cut her losses.
Yes, Jim is leading on both women by
talking out of both sides of his mouth,
but Karen still completely ignoring the giant
red flags waving in her face! 🚩
It drives me crazy that Pam puts all the blame
on herself, and allowing Jim to do the same,
while letting Jim off the hook when comes to their
relationship problems. 😡
At least the others felt guilty about missing the art show.

Even though we know where this going,
seeing Jim’s mind going through all the
realizations of what he really wants, was intense.
I hope we get to see him end things with Karen,
and her reaction.
I have to say I liked how Jim also thought to himself
about wanting not sliver. That showed how even though JAM wasn’t always the best at communicating, they are still in the same wavelength.

Date: April 07, 2022 Title: Chapter 11: "A real relationship can't be forced. It should just come about effortless...ledly."

Karen definitely should have listened to Monika.
Monika really hit the nail on the head with not just Karen’s relationship with Jim, but also with Karen
herself. The red flags were there the whole time and Karen choose to ignore them. She was right in that Jim was a different person in Stamford than he was in Scranton, which is what I’ve been saying for a while.
Karen fell for the guy who she THOUGHT Jim was,
and Pam wanted Scranton Jim. In other words,
the real Jim. In the end that’s who won out.
Karen should have known that she couldn’t suppress the real Jim for too long because he kept coming out like when he found the glasses to prank Dwight.
Also Karen’s annoyance with Jim’s pranks also showed how they really didn’t have that much in common, or chemistry. It was interesting to see things from Karen’s POV, but also showed that she actually wasn’t as confident as she tried to appear.
Yes she was good at her job, but as a woman deep
down she was insecure. I do think that she has every right to be angry at Jim because he did lie to her,
and was leading her on to think they could possibly have a future. At least Karen seems to have
a happy ending to with the doctor, because the camera guy was right in that Karen should be with a guy that chases after her.

I like how you’ve made Pam more confident and doing a job that she actually loves. We didn’t get that enough in canon. You definitely got the nail on the head with Kelly and Ryan’s relationship.
Also not to mention Karen’s desperation at wanting something real to happen with Jim. So sad.

Yeah, I really dislike Karen, so she's never going to come off well in one of my fics!!

Kelly makes me SMH.I think she’s a little jealous
That Jim wasn’t interested n her, and that deep

I think Kelly is going to end up raising her baby alone.
After seeing how Jim knows Matt Damon and can can private time at MSG, I think that Karen likes him for the wrong reasons. Cathy seems just as crazy in this story as she did in canon.

Jim is already falling for her!
It was probably a good idea that he didn’t say so
out loud because he wouldn’t scare Pam away.
You hit the nail on the head with Roy.
He did act like a had a chip on his shoulder,
even in canon. He was never supportive of Pam’s art.
Danny sounds like a textbook narcissist. Pam really
dodged a bullet with that one. Given her bad experiences with men, I can understand why she’s
in disbelief that she found a guy who truly wants the best for her. Will Jim and Pam end up working together on Creed’s account?
I’m curious about Jim’s little stuffed animal. Does he have his own bad relationship issues? The jealousy Cathy had in the last chapter is pretty obvious. I have a feeling the crazy will eventually come to the surface. For coming off as an airhead, Kelly can be very insightful. I’m dying to see Karen’s reaction to the JAM relationship! Okay so Cathy is creepy. Does actually she think that Jim would want to see her in the bra and panties?
I am now dying to know what Karen did to Jim/Katie!
Just like Jim I’m also surprised that his dad hugged him. Jim’s dad came off at being cold and distant towards Jim, which I think adds another layer
to Jim’s personality, and depth. Pam’s mom is annoying.
Pam is right that her mom is projecting her hate towards Pam’s dad onto Jim. I love the ring Jim got for Pam. I hope that Cathy doesn’t get her hands on it.

TBH I actually can’t (completely) be mad at
Karen for trashing Jim’s relationship with Katy because that freed him up to be with Pam.

I do think Jim was being naive by hanging out with Karen because it allowed Karen to fake a relationship with him. The office sex was hot. However, I’m a little disappointed that Pam isn’t willing to do it in her own office. I would love to see JAM get caught by Cathy
and her absolute jealousy. 😈

Absolutely, Jim was naive hete, but we know season 3 Jim was a bit of a tool. He’s back to his normal wonderful self though, so no need to worry!

It’s nice to see that Jim is comfortable in his relationship with Pam to let her see the silly prank
side of his personality. I do think Karen is a bit delusional to think that she has something real going on with Jim, even if she’s thinking it’s an on/off thing.
It’s kind of like how Kelly was with Ryan.
I am surprised though that Karen didn’t cause any drama when Pam told her that she is actually Jim’s girlfriend, and that Karen wasn’t invited to Jim’s party. I have to say that you do have my attention when you said that Pam’s boobs were bigger right now. 🤔 please update soon!

Yup Karen is definitely delusional, but I always thought she was in canon to think she could force the relationship to work. Very Kelly and Ryan you’re right!

I didn’t want any drama ruining this night, and in canon Karen didn’t cause any drama when Pam finally let her feelings out. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be some coming :)

There will definitely be an update, and I’m sure Pam’s boobs will feature too 🤣

Cathy is a complete psycho!
Karen(and Kelly)is just sad and desperate.
However, it does seem that Jim isn’t blind to what Cathy is trying to do. He probably has had other women throw themselves at him.

These last two chapters were really great, and funny.
It’s nice to see Jim so excited about being a dad so early into their relationship. Most men would be
freaking out like Ryan is. Then again unlike Kelly,
Pam didn’t get pregnant to trap Jim.
However, it would not surprise if some people
accuse Pam of doing that very thing, like Jim’s dad.
I like how Jim and Pam tried to work things out about Jim being gone for those months.
Kelly is driving me crazy. I don’t know how Pam puts up with her. Just getting a break from Kelly would be enough for me to what to leave with Jim for months, if I were Pam. Pam teasing Jim about being called daddy reminds me of Ross and Phoebe on Friends.
I admit that I am curious about what’s coming up with Cathy and Karen because they’ve been pretty quiet lately.

I knew it!
I had a feeling that Pam got pregnant that
first night after their conversation about the
condom. I would definitely not trust Kelly to keep her mouth shut about Pam’s pregnancy.
Those doctors are nuts, and Robert California is down right creepy. How does he keep his medical
license with all the sexual harassment he does?
Cathy needs to be fired.

Could Cathy be any more obvious with her jealousy and desperation? I agree with Pam about just googling questions about sex during pregnancy.
