It's a small world.
"He was always a perfect gentleman."
I'm sure he was Angela, I'm sure he was. I liked this fic a lot, but I do wish that Oscar could be comfortably out. I hate that he has to hide it.
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked! And yeah, I felt that way for a while, but then I started thinking about how insufferable Michael is about Stanley being black and his "What if Pam were a lesbian?" speech and the way he uses gay and queer and basically if Oscar just wants to stay in at work, to avoid being in the crosshairs of all that, I don't think I blame him at ALL. Hee.
::Pant, pant, pant:: Wow. What a story. Awesome. ::Pant::
Author's Response: Thanks :)
Melissa/Ryan, Ryan/Kelly.
Hilarious. Poor, poor Ryan. Stanley's one line was perfect, too.
Really cute story. Love the little JAM details that make this story really ring true. Can't wait for future chapters.
More? Oh, there better be more. I love this fic. It's hot and sweet and sexy. I can't wait to see wehre it goes from here.
I'm really enjoying this series. Oh, the potted plant. What other stories can it tell. All of your characterizations have been perfect. Oscar and Kevin had me in hysterics.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! :)
Love this fic! So creative and layered. Despite being noir, it's not even cliche. I love, love, love it. Can't wait to read more chapters!
Oh, you're evil, breaking the chapter like that. Hope the next one is up soon.
This was the toughest chapter to read. Jim, impervious to Pam, is hard to take. Hope he thaws soon.
Awwww, that's better. Thank you for a happy chapter!
Heartbreaking and beautifully written. Just feel awful for both of them. I liked the reference to their college experience, made this fic seem that much more plausible.
"And as she does she knows, for the first time with all certainty, that no matter what happens she’ll never wear it again."
Oh, hell yeah! I love this fic, and this installment was great. Looking forward to future chapters.
Author's Response: I think someone might give her another ring someday...
just saying....;)
Wow, I suddenly have huge love for post-it notes. This fic is great xoxoxo, can't wait for more and to find out the status of Jim and whatshername.
Author's Response: Thanks TV_Buffy! Jim and whatshername are not long for this world I think...LOL!
Awesome chapter! I loved it. The yearning and longing was palpable. The description of her clothes and hair were perfect. Can't wait to see/read what's next.
Author's Response: I'm dying to give Pam a makeover. LOL! I thought with a little bit of confidence she'd make a few little changes. Glad you liked it. :)
This chapter was gut-wrenching, but I know there has to be happiers seasons ahead, right? RIGHT?? The writing was superb, as usual, and I love the style of the story. Bravo!
Author's Response: Happier seasons? Maybe...we'll see. ;)
I love the way this has started! Can't wait to read more. As usual, you're off to a great, great start.
Author's Response: I\'m glad to hear it. I was really worried. More is on the way.
Jodith Grace - I'm so glad you're back. I've missed the Jam Sessions. This is another great addition! Love that you got to meet Jim if your story - it's perfect.
Poor Jim - what a set of e-mails to get while on vacation! Hope everything turns out okay.
Another great chapter, JG. I love that Pam is searching for thing related to Jim. I also like Janice's letters, they are a great touch and give more layers to Jim's character and personality. Bravo! More, please.
I just discovered this story today and read the whole thing. It was breathtaking. I don't think Pam suffered too much. Jim's coma gave her the time she needed to become the Pam of Jim's dreams.
I loved the characterizations of both sets of parents, and of Jim's sister-in-law. They added nice layers to the story.
All in all - great job!
This is one of the classic JAM stories for me. I love the various details you included throughout the story. Well done!
So depressing and sad. But, so perfect and plausible. Beautifully written (as usual). I do love it, even with the angst.
Author's Response: Yea, angst is depressing, but what's Jam without a little unhappiness?
Is it wrong that I kind of love Andi. You've written her so well. I love that she's not bitchy or clingy. But, strong and a realist. I love this story so much. I wonder how this whole mess is going to get cleared up.
Its 2036. Pam reflects back on the last 30 years.
Thanks for responding to this challenge! Your entry was great. So well written, with great characterizations. Love how Jim and Pam grew up separately, but ended up together, stronger than ever. Great!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for kind comments!
That? Was freakin' hilarious. Very original, borderline genius. You're all nuts!
