I was wondering if there were any fics covering this topic here and was please to find this. You handled this incredibly tough and emotional subject in a way that was both heartbreaking and hopeful. Thanks for writing this.

About nine years late to the party but this is fantastic, very different but still very emotional and romantic, I will definitely be rereading this one and will surely find something new each time.

Sadly I'm too late to enjoy the multimedia aspects of this fic but should you see this and should you still have those extras we wanted to offer our help in getting it back online so this story can be enjoyed more fully. Just let me know!

This is really great, hot but also very much them (always a tricky balance in smut). It's officially accepted to my head canon that they were at least intensely making out before Soy Milk interrupted. (Such a c**k block, that Soy Milk)

Oh wow, this is so great, each little line just captures the episode and also packs a punch, S2 Pam is definitely hard to get into the mindset of IMHO but each line felt true. S3 Jim is also a little tough (for me) but I love all your lines there too "Truth is – I don’t want this to become the relationship that changes my life." just kind of said everything about his feelings for Karen.

And the way you bookend S3 Pam with stopping and starting painting? Oh man, I may have gotten a little misty eyed. Great read!

Each one of these vignettes is great! The first 3 so perfectly capture longing and tension, the 4th is pure hotness, then that sweet sweet ending, one of my faves!

It looks like we'll only ever get a handful of Paper Airplane based fanfics (oh if only it had aired in like 2009!) but even still, I'm very grateful you came and wrote this chapter. You just perfectly captured the S9 arc, the really quiet but painful fraying of their relationship. And how, in true Jim/Pam fashion, they're actually rather in-sync in feeling out of sync with one another. All the bits you added are so true to the characters and to the time on the show, I can 100% see Jim saying "I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to make love to you tonight" thinking he's being cute and playful and Pam just taking it the complete wrong way. Love everything about this, especially that ending ;-)

This is cute, this time on the show is sadly neglected but I'm happy you were inspired to write this.

It's so awesome to have another author from the "heydays" back with a new story! I also had a Netflix Office binge last summer and renewed my JAM feels something fierce. This was very sweet and fun and funny (if only it had gone something like this on the show!). I like how you borrowed a little from the final season with Pam not having the confidence that she's good enough for Jim (which I think was a huge part of her denial of her feelings for him in S2 and a bit in S3) and Jim reassuring her that she is everything to him. And the last line, ha!

Not sure if you have any more Office stories in you but if you do, please come post! I think some other MTTers would be pretty excited to hear from someone from the good ol' days!

Thanks for much for bring this story over here, so sorry it's taken me to long to review! Pam's talking head is very Pam, she would insist she's happy for Jim, but in reality her heart would be breaking and she would be in denial why. :(

Hey, thanks!  I'm still trying to get used to this site; it's quite a bit different than fanfiction, navigation-wise.  But I appreciate the invite, I had heard about this site prior to this and enjoyed reading some things on here.

Love it! I think you struck just the right balance of them feeling comfortable with each other again but also feeling nervous and awkward. Can't wait for more!
