Found The Office summer '06. Immediately fell in love with JAM. Obsessed ever since.
I no longer work as a part-time receptionist, which is sort of sad because I feel less connected to Pam (just kidding!). I'm almost finished getting my Masters in literacy and I'm a first year high school teacher! So basically I have nothing resembling free time or... sanity.
Pam's discovered the world of internet chat rooms. Jim can't resist the chance to be near her in cyberspace. Spoilers up to Cocktails. As much as I've been praying for cyber-sex (which just sounds uber-creepy... I'm a freak) I'm sort of glad that Jim handled this this way. He's right, and he gave Pam a good kick in the pants, which she needs. However, that being said, I would not be adverse to seeing cyber-sex in future chapters. Like I said--freak.
Also, you pretty much ROCK my socks off.

I caved and wrote a post-Cocktail fic that can be best described by Jim's Talking Head from Season 2 Ep 6:

So, I'm sitting here thinking how freaking amazing this was, and then I read the end notes. OMG! There's gonna be more?!?! asklasdkjfsdlakjglksadjg
I laughed out loud at the image of Jim tapping patiently on the glass wall of the conference room and holding up the medical kit. So awesome.
And Ryan/Karen? How have I never heard of this ship before? It's perfect.

In fact, he wasn’t exactly Prince Charming- just a sweet, thoughtless boy who lulled you into an enchanted sleep. Prince Charming, then, is really the one who kisses you and wakes you up. Except that he wanders off and rescues someone else while you’re rubbing the drowsiness from your eyes.
“Pam? Well, we are more like acquaintances now. She does her own thing and I do mine. It’s best this way if you think about it,” Jim said into the camera.

Oh jeeze. I don't know what was the most exquisite in this story: the steaminess (every time his hand tightened on her waist, I thought I was going to DIE), the sadness right before the end (I'm still tearing up over here), or the extreme happiness I feel now that I've reached the end.
You must have a purple belt in awesome fic-writing.

It's not that Karen didn't see the signs, she just chose to ignore them...
Vignettes take place either during or close to episodes, including a post-Cocktails vignette.

I love number one, because I always imagined Karen trying to convince herself that she wasn't moving for a guy she barely knew. It doesn't seem like something she would normally do.
I love number two, because that last line really made me feel for Karen. Like a sinking in my gut. Ugh.
I love number three, because the whole curl thing is genius.
I love number four, because of the way you describe Karen's thought process about Pam's transition into a bumbling nervous wreck. And her resolution in the last line. I can definitely see that happening.
And of course, number five. Oh that ending. So, so good.

I mean, amazing amazing amazing!! Especially because this is your first time writing smut, which is very hard to believe! I absolutely love Pam's thoughts during the car ride, and I could visualize every bit of it. And then oh my GOD in her apartment!
But OUCH! The ending. I love it, but ouch.

You give all the characters a fair deal and stay very true to their personalities. I love your depiction of Karen and Jim. And Pam for that matter.
And your cameraman is very compelling. I'm so glad that you responded to this challenge. It's such a good one, but I was in no way creative enough to think of anything, and you just hit this one out of the park!
Bee-yoo-tee-ful! I admire people who can write drabbles just on principle. But this is something special. LOVE it. I love Pam's inner monologue. It's incredibly engaging.

Oh my god, SO GOOD! You handle an ensemble fic extremely well. All of the characters are entirely believable, especially Dwight and Michael, whom I consider challenging to write.
This line made me guffaw: “He doesn’t look happy.”
Ha! I like that you let us see the CPR instructor's thoughts. Very funny.
Now all I want you to do as add a chapter 2 to this in which Jim actually does choke and need Pam to perform CPR on him. And then they get married and have babies. *nod*

Haha, that would be a fun chapter 2 to write, but I think I will leave it... although my next story has some serious JAM action, once I get that written... its written in my head, apparently that doesn't work (and then I gotta wait for it to be betaed, because that makes it about a thousand times better)

Seriously, this was very nice. I liked the CFO a lot, and feel like he and Jim made a real connection that night. Probably not a romantic connection, but that doesn't mean I wasn't uber-excited to see that someone had take up the Jim/CFO challenge.
And fantastic ending, by the way. Really good.
The documentary company needs a little help to finalize a distribution deal, so the head of the camera crew decides to recruit a mole.My love for this story... I cannot describe it, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal in 48 states.

Lines that I am in love with:
Karen exclaimed with all the personality she could muster, for a character that hasn't been fleshed out by the writers.
Jim took the time to make his hair more perfect, a strand had fallen out of place.
"Hold on a second," said Karen, in a businesslike way. She then said something sincere to a supporting character. "I have to do that every fifteen minutes, they say it's part of my charm."
"I understand," said Pam, cutely, like a puppy but with added cuteness.
And, like, everything else too. Soooooo bad, but so good.
Thank you for this lovely, lovely gift. It was the best bedtime story I could have hoped for. Hee!
Wonderfully steamy. Can I just say that when Jim is both funny and overtly sexy at the same time, it's really too much to take? Wow. So good. And Angela should make an appearance in every smut fic. She's wonderful in this.

I feel like what Ryan says about the office making him into a mean person when he's really not is true. When I see first- and second-season Ryan, he's actually a decent guy. Actually pretty much right until he started dating Kelly he was pretty un-hate-able.
This season, I'll admit I'm a Ryan-hater. But I completely follow you here--not OOC at all. Ryan could, outside of the office and without Kelly around, be a nice guy. And incredibly sexy, apparently. Because yeah, that last little bit of chapter three? WOW.
And I love Jealous!Jim and Drunk!FNB and Sympathetic!Karen. I'm pretty much addicted to this. Yup.
