This picks up pre-merger and is spoiler free, a bit AU as well.  I began this back in October (maybe even September), and obviously the show has deviated quite a bit from what I speculated here.

This begins with angst, but there is a great deal of fluff, steam, smut, and silly...for several, several chapters.  My idea was to go beyond the happy ending, so to speak.

Maybe next time you'll be less stand-off-ish so Karen won't beat you to the punch. For instance..I'm just throwing this out there...what if Katy stopped by and joked with Pam that Jim wasn't any good in the sack? Are you going to spend your review calling Katy a moron? Or are you going to take one for the team and offer to help Jim on his lovemaking skillz? These are the things you've got to be prepared for!

 I saw your name and instantly thought "Weetzie Bat" which is this obscure book. Then you say you 'literally squeaked'. Like you were a bat! And I was like "NO!" And then I realized you have to stay away from Dwight because that man is packing heat. I was thinking if I were you, Weetzie, I'd also stay away from Kelly because that girl is NOT your friend! Finally I realized "Muggins, it's just a show. Dwight is not going to take down one of my readers" Although, maybe I should stop writing stuff that makes you squeak. As a safety precaution. Because I worry about these things.

Also, come on, how hot is Jim saying "we are MEN."
