9 As a reader I find your writing style captivating. I think the way you expressed the passion, intimacy and eroticism of Pam and Jim's 'first time' was very real. We'll never see it (and quite frankly I don't know if I want to). Sometimes the fantasy exceeds the reality.
I was so happy to see there is another chapter after this one.
Nice touch adding Jonathan - the affection and teasing between the brothers was very believable.
The come on from Wendy was an interesting addition - perhaps reading the remaining chapters will help me understand it's significance because I'm not sure I get it right now. A test of Jim's feelings for Pam? Doesn't seem necessary the way his character has evolved in this story so far. Oh well...
9 Love the song choice in this chapter Time4Moxie. The perfect blend of fun and romance. Just like Jim and Pam. Being Canadian and from the same area as the Barenaked Ladies I like their music and this happens to be a favourite of mine that I haven't heard in quite awhile. This is along the same lines as my other Away From the Cameras, in the sense that I'm exploring scenes that might have happened off-camera (or simply those that we didn't get to see).
A few things: First, I'm working on the assumption that a lot of what I wrote in the AFtC for season II stands (though I likely won't reference any of it here), up until Casino Night. (Clearly I was quite off about what happened after the kiss...heh.)
Second, there will be flashbacks filling in the blanks of what happened immediately after CN (how long did Jim work? how did he and Pam ultimately leave things? how did she end things with Roy? how did Jim find out about her cancelling the wedding?); the flashbacks will happen largely in the chapters pre-merger (to keep things interesting for Jim/Pam fans during their physical separation).
9 The emotions are so present in your writing, breathing was difficult at times. Looking forward to more.

I read the first 17 chapters all at once after Bluejeanbaby from the NBC MBs told me about it. Stayed up ready 'til 2am - a definite sign of good writing and great storytelling. I thought you captured the essence of the Jim and Pam characters very well. I like your conversational style and I like the humourous elements that flow throughout the story. No matter how much this couple is perfect for each other, they are bound to have flaws. Jim and Pam head to marriage counseling, and learn to deal with their issues in a semi adult manner.
8 Very well written. I'm liking the counselling context that you've chosen to illustrate that even when 2 people are in love they can still have difficulties. Realistic.

8 Feels like your story is progressing at a pace that works well for these characters. Dialogue has just the right amount of humour. Inner thoughts are a little angsy but I guess they would still be that way at this stage.
Glad you're enjoying the pace. And yes, I tend to vacillate toward the angsty side at times, but my take on it is that I don't think either of them would be easily able to forget all the crap they've dealt with over the past year(s); I think, given some time to be together, be settled, really be happy - they'd be able to let it go. But I think it'd take a while.
