I liked how they had the words on the screen.  Promos are never closed-captioned, so having the words on the screen was the next-best thing.

I am reading a book called R is for Ricochet, by Sue Grafton.   When I read the following lines I just knew I had to share it with the rest of the Treehouse.  This takes place during a first date.

"He paid the bill. While we waited for the car, he pulled me in against him with his hands on my ass. I wanted to climb his frame, shinny up his body like a monkey up a palm."

Ahem.   Carry on.

I was looking thru the old threads and found this gem. I don't usually go for the bearded look, but day-um!   thudicon

Damon Lindelof says there's no need for an island in a Lost-themed ride at Disney World: "Just put people in a black room, spin them around and punch them in the face and tell them 'You just had the Lost experience.'"

I agree. I think the whole beard thing threw us off a bit because his hair was so long and truly homeless looking. I feel like if it were shorter (not like leatherheads short, but about a month after jarhead short) and not greasy we'd all feel a LOT better about the beard (not gonna lie, I might prefer it for a little while ;) )

PS, John, I have a mole on my neck there too.  :-*

There's a small pic of JK talking to Ricky Gervais at the "Evening Before Bash',  on p. 34 of the new People magazine.

He looks particularly tall dreamy...JK, not Ricky. ;)

I love the chest hair peeking through the shirt.
I hate Sex and the City, the show and the movie(s). It's not a crime, it doesn't make me a monster!

How many times does Jim have to get Pam pregnant before we learn a valuable lesson? Once? Twice? Three times?  No, hear me out...Four times? Five? Six? Can I finish please? Seven? Eight? Nine?

Heh... Flashback moment! I mentioned this fact a while ago. Jorge Garcia from "Lost" did a mention on his blog:

Quote
Did I ever tell you that John Krasinski and I both did our first pilot together? It ended up being called "The Originals" and it was for UPN (back when they existed). We had a nice little moment of "can you believe our lives?!"

I can't edit my post via Crackberry but here's Jorge's blog which includes a picture of him and John from the Emmys.

That's so funny about the UPN show. It's a good thing that didn't work out. I wonder if Rainn or Jenna have any bad pilot stories? I've only read about The Originals with John.

I'm in love with this shot from the premiere.

So intense.  He's got a lot on his mind in this moment.

Such a good freakin' actor.    thudicon

Ditto that! I've watched that little clip more then should be healthy. The part where he "Tssk, Tssk", makes me go all a twitter. thudicon

I don't think that Jims and Paceys really exist in the world. They are just created to get us women in trouble with our Roys.
