The Other TV Boyfriends #3
« on: February 10, 2009, 10:13:57 AM »
Thread #2 is closed.  You can continue bringing on the pretty here. :)

But, actually you can have that boy toy for a while...because, if I didn't already love my second (age appropriate) husband Clive enough, I just read this article and the wedding is so on: Fatherhood is Clive Owen's favorite role right now.

My favourite part of this article is that his daughters have become obsessed with Friends and they now realize he has worked with Jennifer Aniston so they want him to call her.  It's hilarious and totally what any 12-year-old would do.

Also, Clive Owen?  Yummy.

colette you are good to me.  And I can't wait to see The Painted Veil.  Sadly my DVR is dead so I can't even rent it.

MA - that is hilarious.  I can see them asking - all serious about it. :D

jenn, if you like Ed N., have you seen The Painted Veil? Fantastic film (saw it when it came out and have watched it on HBO about 12 times since, no joke) and he's really good in it.

I'm actually downloading it obtaining it as we speak er, after work.  0)  I'm in the midst of working my way through his filmography, as I tend to go through bouts of dedication (obsession is such an ugly word). And, callisto, I'm a huge fan of the sleepy-eyed look as well.  And definitely pro-scruff.
"Oh, this is gonna be good.  You have that 'I'd rather be making out with a broken bottle' look; which, if history serves, means you're about to say something awkward."

While JKras has Meryl, Alec, and Steve as his next co-stars, Zlevi will have Alvin, Simon, and Theodore.

That makes sad.  So I guess Jason Lee was able to get away from that trainwreck...

Let's be honest: Zlevi isn't at the same level as JKras yet so I'm glad he was at least approached for something. Plus, not to be a bashing bitch, but License to Wed? Smiley Face? Maybe it's better to have a supporting role in a cheesy movie that's guaranteed to rake in the big bucks than a JKras project. >:D

At least LTW & Smiley Face were unknown quantities.  The Chipmunks is out & out cheese from the start.

These fellas are really pushing the limits of what I will spend $30 to go & see.

At least with the Chipmunks I can "take the kids" as my excuse.  ;D

That depends, wendolf. How old are the kids? If worse comes to worse, I guess we can always borrow lisahoo's munchkins. ;D

Young enough to enjoy the Chipmunks, I think (they're 10 and 7). Of course my daughter (the 10 year old) is savy enough to know that I have a bit of a "thing" for the guy on Chuck and she might suspect something fishy is going on when I offer to take them to see a corny kids movie on opening day.  ;D Damn these kids and their growing up. Can't fool them so easily anymore...
