Ooo!  Fun!  Let's see...here are a few:

Canned Heat, Jamiroquai (and the Napoleon Dynamite connection always makes me smile  :))
Everybody Got Their Something, Nikka Costa
Groove is in the Heart, Deee-Lite
Love Shack, B-52's
LoveStoned, Justine Timberlake

Since I'm sure I'll be obsessing over this all day, maybe I'll add some more...

I'm going to show my age, but these are 2 of my all time, can't help but dance, songs:

Watusi Rodeo - Guadalcanal Diary
Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've?) - Buzzcocks
Damon Lindelof says there's no need for an island in a Lost-themed ride at Disney World: "Just put people in a black room, spin them around and punch them in the face and tell them 'You just had the Lost experience.'"

I'm terribly uncool anymore, but I have to shake my booty to the Black Eyed Peas.

My kids sing along to "I've Got a Feeling" -- it's pretty hilarious.

I was coming here to post the same song!

I don't think that Jims and Paceys really exist in the world. They are just created to get us women in trouble with our Roys.

I am so ashamed that I only recognize a few of the songs you guys have kindly shared.  Well, Black Eyed Peas, I know.  Also BSB & Spice Girls.  On the bright side, I'll have something to check out later since my work disabled the audio part of my computer.  Boo.

Thanks!!

These are the songs that I've been listening to lately that make me go all Elaine Benes (and yes, I got these from TV commercials):

Band of Skulls - "Light of the Morning"

The Heavy - "How You Like Me Now?"

This song I love to dance to even though it's not really "dance" music:

Lighthouse Family - "Ain't No Sunshine"

Actually any Black Eyed Peas will make you shake your booty.  I was thinking of stuff from Monkey Business & Elephunk.

ETA:  I have to include my newest guilty pleasure -- Lady Gaga.
Love her or hate her, you have to admit, she's an original.
And once you get one of her songs in your head there is NO escape!!

I have been listening to some '90s music lately, like S Club 7, Spice Girls, B*Witched, BSB and Monica along with many others. Those songs keeps me in a good mood and sometimes dance around my house without no one in the house.

Hmmm... I haven't quite decided how I feel about this:

Take any song and make it swing
"Do you want some pie?"
"Not me, I hate pie."
"What are you talking about? Who hates pie? Everyone loves pie!"
"I've always hated pie! You never understood me!"
"You're a pie racist!"
"Well, you're a cobbler whore!"

Two great songs to run to:

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom by  Venga Boys
Call Me  by Le Clique

crank that treadmill speed.

I never know.  I just say it. I say stuff like that, you know, to lighten the tension when things sorta get hard." "That's what she said."

What song makes you change the station whenever it comes on the radio?  I have a few:

-- That Kid Rock song with the mashup of Sweet Home Alabama and Werewolves of London.  The mashup idea is clever, but it annoys my ear that the song isn't quite right somehow.  Oh, and the lyrics suck.
-- That Lady Antebellum song.  Broken record radio.  They play it to death on the country AND top 40 stations.  Ugh.
-- That new Michael Buble song.  I just can't enjoy his music now that I know he's a cheating jerkwad IRL.  I guess it's easier to take with some loud rocker than Mr. "I wear a tux and act all smooth and charming".  Just, ew.
-- anything by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  I'm just sick of them and they never seem to go away.

Yes to all of these. A thousand times yes. Also:

Closing Time by Semisonic. Heard it today and just ... yuck.
All I Wanna Do is Have Some Fun by Sheryl Crow. Don't know why, but I just hate it.
Telephone by Lady Gaga. This song just bugs me.
Anything by Shakira, but particularly She Wolf.
Fireflies by Owl City. My kids love Owl City but it's like nails on a chalk board to me.

I'm sure there are many more, but these are a few that came to mind.  ;D

Yep to all of these, except I am one of those dinosaurs who probably wouldn't know a Shakira song if I heard it.

Also:

-Sweet Home Alabama, the real version. My brother made me laugh by always saying "Turn it off" when they say "turn it up."
- That Train song "Soul Sister."  I was watching them open at the All-Star Game and thinking, my God how long is this song??
-Anything by Nickelback.
-Jason Mraz "I'm Yours." Overplayed.

It's a shame how often the radio kills a song I love by playing it to death. Then when it's gone you never hear it again.  ???

Good topic!

- Tik Tok - Ke$ha. I hate, hate, hate that song.
- Not Afraid - Eminem. I'm so sick of it.
- Any "my boyfriend left me and stole my truck" country song. I don't have anything against country, but there are lots of country & western stations in my town, so I can't seem to avoid it no matter how hard I try.
