There are very few things I love more than the yearly drunken sing alongs to Fairytale of New York. You're pretty much guaranteed that it'll be the last song played in every nightclub here, and everyone goes INSANE. It's great. We had a particularly epic rendition of it at my work Christmas party last week.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town to Get Me made me laugh out loud.   In fact, I'm having trouble typing...

"Green Day's single 21 Guns featuring the cast of American Idiot is now available for purchase on iTunes!" Clicky, clicky...

It's also on Amazon for 99 cents. Linky, linky...

Whoo! Thanks for the reminder Sora! I saw John's twitter about it last night, but didn't get a chance to download. Then I forgot this morning... (tsk to me!)

You're welcome, halfbaked

Santa Claus is Coming to Town to Get Me made me laugh out loud.

Isn't that such an apt song for paranoia though?  Especially these lines: "He sees you when you're sleeping/
He knows when you're awake."  That jolly dude has some tracking system  :D

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in the "random things on the internet" thread, but here is a truly awesome remix of the top 25 songs of 2009.
I am glad that today spurred social change; that's part of my job as Regional Manager.

Nice share - thanks. Did I miss any New Yawk references?

I never know.  I just say it. I say stuff like that, you know, to lighten the tension when things sorta get hard." "That's what she said."

I'm a grown woman, but Britney Spears' music never fail to give me energy and make me happy.  It's stupid music, but I like it, darn it.

Aside from oldies music, I love theatrical/instrumental music, from one show especially.

# (<3 Frakin Epic 0:42 - 2:06 especially)
# (:() < I never listen to that song because it makes me cry
# (Last Agni Kai, what an emotional fight)
# Gorgeous

God I love that music. Some of the most amazing music EVER. I'm extremely happy the OST is up for download, after years of petitioning to get the music. I never fail to cry when I hear some of the songs.

I'm spending today listening to Sparklehorse, after the tragic news of Mark Linkous' suicide at the weekend.

Such an incredibly talented man, his music is just heartbreakingly beautiful. For all of his troubles, he left the world a much better place than he found it by giving us his music.

Yeah, I was so sad to hear about that too summerteeth.  I'll have to put on Dreamt for Light Years in the Belly of a Mountain tonight.
