10 years late to the party. But I love it. Super well done plot, great characterization, perfect dialogue. Thanks for this treasure :)

Excellent. I love how it took 5+ hours for Pam to finally work up the nerve to say something- I think that's very realistic, given how meek her character can be. The Jam banter was perfect. Jim's thought about the iPodplaylist was hilarious - he's so emo and I love it. Great job.

Author's Response: Thanks, Rowena666!

I absolutely love this story.  Seems spot on for how Jim & Pam would react in this situation and I love that it's so different from a lot of JAM talking it out fics (not that there is anything wrong with those).  Absolutely lovely story.

Author's Response: Thanks so much, flamingosinparadise!

okay, I won't look at those single bathrooms the same way again.
Still kinda gross, though.
Hee. I love this story. And thanks for making it so that it takes them five hours in a tight space to FINALLY working things out. It's so them.
Thanks. A million times over.
cheers.

CUTE!  I'd give anything for the two of them to be locked in a confined space for an extended period of time!  Glad they got everything worked out :o)

Author's Response: Me, too. Now if only this weren't fiction! Thanks for commenting, JRAddict!

Good for Pam! Loved the contrived enclosed space, and the use of childhood games to pass the time. The do-over was an original idea I hadn't seen before for the resolution of the season-three-of-angst.

Author's Response: Thanks Luna Mystik!

I love how from the start it seemed like it would be so angsty, but then you went the route of light hearted fun, followed by sweet honesty. This was a great read - I was smiling through almost all of it :)

Author's Response: Thanks, Semby! I'm glad I could provide you with a smile :)

Yay for confined spaces and Jim and Pam figuring it out. I am personally in love with the way you have her tell him - how intimately perfect it is. Wonderful. <3

Author's Response: Thanks, fwf!

I love how that story turned out as well.  You've made it believable and full of small moments between them that culminate in finally taking a big step.  Plus, Jim and Pam trapped somewhere is just fun! :)

Author's Response:

Thanks, MA! I really owe you for helping me figure this one out.

Very nice.  I love their games while Pam is trying to find a way to say what she needs to say.  I love that Jim gives Pam the time.  And thank goodness someone came with the keys.  Those two should definitely find a bed, or a couch.  Or a wall that isn't tiled.  You know, somewhere classy for their first time.  (Heehee.)

Author's Response:

Don't worry, even if the first time wasn't classy, I'm sure they were keen to give it another try somewhere else. Thanks for commenting, Too Late Kev!

I love this story.  I want to write a long, detailed review praising all the fabulous aspects of this story, but alas my brain will not let me as my baby boy kept me up much of the night and I am now quite sleep deprived.

I will say, though, that I love the idea of Jim going to Pam's art show because he was always such a big supporter of her art.

I also love the way there isn't a lot said about Jim and Karen's break-up.  Karen isn't villified.  The break-up was just part of a bigger sequence of events, as it would be in real life.

 Also, the last line? Brilliant.

Author's Response: Thanks for taking the time to leave a few words, even though you're sleep deprived, Fliz0nToast. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

This is great.  I loved how Pam still isn't immediately ready to talk.  Very realistic.  And "Your bathroom or mine?" is awesome!

Author's Response: Thanks, FNB!

There's just so much to like about this story - somehow the absurdity and intimacy of it taking place in a tiny bathroom is perfect for their situation at this point. Loved that even though he'd broken up with Karen, Jim still needed Pam to initiate a reconnection (inviting him to her show). And that he wouldn't let her run away (he's the guy who won't let her do that) and that they need to go through those hours of alternating goofing around and tension to get back to who they are together, before she can finally TELL him. And that he's patient (very Jim,)  lets it unfold and accepts part of the responsibility for how things have played out. Just all so plausible and in character - Jim was sweet, but strong and Pam finally becomes the person he's always known she can be...if he just waits her out and pushes a little.

And last line: ...eyes glittering with all kinds of trouble.... Wonderful.

Author's Response:

Thanks, Colette! I really hope that once Jim and Karen inevitably break up, he doesn't fall straight into Pam's arms. They need a chance to reconnect first. And I would really like to see Jim push Pam a little. No big confession (again), but something to get her started, because I think she's starting to doubt the bond they have.

As for the last line, I literally added it at the last second. The last two lines were just dialogue, and as I re-read before posting, they went "CLUNK!" so I had to do something to fix it.

And with this fic, you are officially in my Favorite Authors list.

Love the do-over.  They (we) need a do-over.  Like now.  Or at least in the next two months/6 episodes or whatever it is.  For real.

Author's Response: Oooh, favorited! Nice! Thanks lisahoo. A do-over would be nice, wouldn't it? They can call this last year a learning experience and just try again from the beginning a little wiser.

Eeeee!!! I feel like it's my birthday and you didn't even write this story for me. So, so good. Your characterization with Jim as the "aggressor" was really, really HOT well done, and very in character. And Pam running, but then finally just getting some balls and confessing was just GUH. Love love love. :)

Author's Response:

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear starblossom, happy birthday to you!!!

You already know how much I love this story - I read it again last night before bedtime.  I'm glad I requested something that made you rethink how to put them in the box.  ;-)

Yay!!!!!

Author's Response: Thank you for making me stretch! I had fun with both your suggestions!

Hurray! That was really fun to read, with just the right amount of angst to make it believable. I think you struck just the right balance of playfulness and melancholy with Pam. And I particularly liked Jim's sadness that his best friend hadn't noticed he'd been dumped. Nice work!

Author's Response: Thanks Angryhaiku!

Oh my goodness, was that the cutest thing ever or what? I love how they passed their time in the bathroom and Pam making Jim turn around while she peed was hilarious. And I loved the ending. This really hit the spot.

Author's Response: Thanks a million, juteux!
