Yes! Finally I read a fiction of this scene that lines up with my take on it! So many other stories have Jim a jumble of nerves and uncertainty and fear (even YOU wrote one!). But I saw quiet confidence, patience, and a willingness to do whatever it took, wait as long as necessary, and love Pam until she was ready to love him back. I think he was also pretty confident that she was already there too, but bottom line, he KNEW it was their time.

LOVE this! Unwritten, you probably don't come here anymore, but if you do, HIGH FIVE! :)

That walk/jog/run analogy was perfect! Great intake on Jim's thoughts before he burst into the room :)

Author's Response: Thank you! I spent hours thinking of what Jim must have been thinking/acting right before he burst in to ask Pam. He did seem quite worked up and to the point by the time he asked for that dinner. :)

YES!   A new day, indeed!   I love imagining Jim's trip from the PLOD to the conference room....by the time he burst in on that TH he was jumping out of his skin with anticipation!  You did a nice treatment of that here.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like it! I've been going over the Jim/Pam scenes from The Job over and over again to get a fresh perspective on different scenes. I'm starting to get a little obsessed over the ending now. ^_^
