okay, you need to stop making me cry.  That was just adorable.  The name is absolutely perfect.   I loved the flashback, I could totally picture it.  Oh and the mention of his hands, yeah, I loved it!

Author's Response:

I'm sorry.  It's just that I don't like to cry alone.  I'm glad you liked it.  Thanks so much!

And the whole hotel scene? Hee! Perfect!

Author's Response: I'm really, really glad....really.  Thank you!

Another great chapter. And let me just tell you that the thought of Jim stuck in the hallway in a towel, greeting the person getting off the elevator had me simultaneously cracking up and wishing I was the one getting off the elevator. I think that image will be burned into my brain, so thanks! :)

Author's Response: I'm glad you thought so.  Sigh.  I know. Me too! :)

Ah, these two crazy kids!  This was my favourite chapter so far.  I love it when they are playful with each other.  I'm glad mom and daughter are doing well.

I had a rotten day so this was an extra special treat to come home to.  I'm happy you are busy with conference calls. ;)

Author's Response:

Crazy indeed.  I'm fond of playful Jam myself.

And yes.  Rest assured.  Pam and whatshername ;) are doing just fine.

Glad I could give you a treat!!

Wow.  Seriously, my favorite chapter so far.  I like how we don't know if it is their first time together or their honeymoon or what until the end of the flashback.  They are so cute together, that you'd think it was their first time!  I like how you have them still having that awesome connection after being married for two years.  Thank you thank you thank you for staying late!!!

Author's Response: Wow.  Seriously.  Thank you!  I struggled with what time frame to put this scene in and I decided it'd be cute if it was a little bit into their future together.  I'm glad you agree!  And you are most welcome. :)

Yay, Pam woke up! I love the particular memory Pam chose to fixate upon here. Will we find out what happened during childbirth in the next chapter?

Author's Response:

Did you really think she wouldn't????   Me too!!!  Hmmmm.   We shall see.

So funny and so sweet at the end - and their voices really came through. Very believable.

And, by the way...I seem to recall someone once claiming they weren't good at writing the steamy (that was you, right?)  - well, I beg to disagree!

Author's Response:

Awwww.  Thank you.

OK.  I'll conceed to semi-steamy but that's the best I can do.  lol!

*fans self* Jim in a sheet?  Whoo....:) This chapter made me smile especially the ending when Pam wakes up and Jim tells her that their baby girl is just as beautiful as her mother....can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response:

heee!  I'm glad you liked it but please thank sicokitty.  She's had a bee in her bonnet about that particular scenario for a long while.

Wasn't that sweet.  Oh Jim.  You know - the whole cloning thing makes me kind of weirded out but I'd take one of him anyday.  ;)

It was extremely difficult especially when she heard him say, "Hey. How's it going?" to whoever had come off the elevator.

HA!   I can see Jim sooo clearly doing this.  Nice work, xoxoxo!

Author's Response: HA!   Me too!  Thank you! :)

Author's Response: heeeeeeeeeeeeeee!   I thought that might suffice. ;)  Thanks Shan!

Fantastic.  And a shout out to me!  Totally unnecessary, but thanks anyway.  I love the stuff you added after and I'm glad I didn't see the whole thing because the new stuff was awesome.  I love this story.

Author's Response: Thank you.  Yes!  Of course.  Otherwise I'd have had Jim spreading all sorts of germs. ;)  I always want to give you at least a little surprise.  Glad I succeeded!

So sweet. I always like the getting-together scenarios that have some banter and not all sap (or angst!).  You capture the contrast between the past and the present situations very well; knowing what they overcame to be together makes this struggle even more poignant.

Author's Response: Thank you.  I'm glad thinks so.  I'm trying to strike a balance so that you're all not going...geez.  How depressing.  LOL!

I have a very important question for you regarding your writing:

How many times can I tell you I love it before you get sick of hearing it?

Seriously. Because (surprise, surprise) I loved this chapter. And I apparently can't think of any other way to say that. So...yes. :)

Author's Response: Smurfette - let me tell you.  It will never, EVER get old.  :) Thank you so much.

He kept tight hold of her hand, laid his head down and joined her in sleep.

What a sweet image to end on.

Author's Response: Thanks LL!  I thought so myself.  Poor guy.  So tired. He's had a really rough day. :)

This would be killing us if not for your awesome flashbacks! Great dialogue. And a neck nuzzle - whee!

Author's Response:

I've always been of the opinion that neck nuzzles are good.

Thanks Shan!

I loved reading about how they got back together. It's a nice mix to have the reminenscing paired with the sadness of the current situation.

Author's Response:

I'm glad.  As for how they got back together - I've got to branch out.  I'm beginning to run out of ideas for that particular scenario.  LOL!

The flirting certainly balanced out the angst a little bit.  This story is really keeping me on the edge of my seat.  Thanks for the regular updates though!

Author's Response: You are welcome.  I figured it'd be too depressing the other way around.  LOL!

Man, I hadn't thought of that game in such a long time.  We used to play it with those pieces of papers folded like a flower or a duck's bill.  Good times.

I'm happy to hear Pam will pull through.  You had me worried there for a while.

Author's Response:

I know!!  But it totally seemed like a game they'd play.

Me too.  I was afraid I was getting too soap opera-y already so I wouldn't ever take it further.   Pam will be OK.  :)

BABY! I had an inkling at first, but now it's been confirmed. Glad you didn't stay away from knocked-up Pam for too long. ;)

Author's Response:

aurorabora - you know I can't be stopped.  LOL!

First of all, this was such a great chapter.  I love daddies and their little girls.  Second, holy crap, I forgot about MASH.  We played the hell out  of that game.  And yes, occasionally cheated.  Can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Oh thank you!  Me too!   HA!  I won't tell.
