I think this is absolutely hilarious. And people will almost always choose something hilarious and incredibly random over something deep and thoughtful.

Author's Response: I know.  I've done deep and thoughtful and nobody read it.  I do this piece of crap pulled out of my ass, and everyone loves it.

This was too too funny.  And this line - "But things worked out well for Angela in the end" deserves a TWSS in the worst way!!!!

Author's Response: OHHHHH!!!!  Kaystar, you just blew my mind!  You win at life, death, and reincarnation.

The moral here, I think, is that questionable mental state is key.  I promise to pay equal attention to your more important literary creations, past and future.  Carry on...

Author's Response: I think that is why so many of the great artists either had brain tumours or drug dependency.

Hey--just take the compliment!  I can't help it!  I hold humor in high esteem.  I know...I'm a sick pup ; )

Author's Response: I just don't get it.  I dig deep into my soul, write something that I feel really resonates with me and should strike a chord with anybody, use great literary language, subtle humour, many layers of deep meaning, and it plummets like a rock into the abyss.  Then I pull this out of my ass on a day when my mental state is questionable at best, and it's one of my most popular Office fics ever.  I give up.

Wow, I love it all. So... well, yes, these are bad ever afters, so whatever. But my favorite bad was Ryan and Kelly. And not knowing how many children they have. Great bad job!

Author's Response: Ryan really doesn't want to know how many children he has.  Especially since their names are Avril Lavigne Howard, Justin Timberlake Howard, Jake Gyllenhal Howard, Suri Shiloh Howard, etc.

I think it's correctly tagged as Bad!Fic, but I certainly enjoyed it.

My favorite parts are 'horror movie bad', 'As a punchline', 'Jim did indeed do Kevin', 'Meredith turned to men who were unwilling to sleep with her', and 'Andy remains alone, but he never gave up.'

That's actually one of the most positive endings that Andy might have.

Author's Response:

I'm not even sure why people are reading this.  I even warned them.  You people can't follow instructions.

Andy is this century's Don Quixote.

Oh, Jim is so gay for Kevin it's not even funny.  Well, maybe a little funny.

Ok, not to piss of the Karenites, but I love what you did to her.  She's too undeveloped of a character for me to actually care what happens to her.  Maybe S4 can change that :)

Creed: puhtato, man-tato.

Anyway, the part with the air conditioning is great.  And I don't think you're weird for writing this...I don't even want to contemplate what that says about me, haha.

Author's Response:

Every single one of these is something I could sort of see happening, either with characters' chemistry on the show, the way they're written, or just little inklings I have about them.

I figure, if Jim keeps saying he's gay for Kevin, it must be true.  I mean, he said it.  Several times.  I've even got quotes here.  I think that'll hold up in court and everything.

I am a Karenite, though we don't traditionally call ourselves that.  And I do care about what happens to her.  One of my greatest fears for season 4 is that they don't treat the fallout responsibly, both in the 'handful' of episodes in which she appears and afterward.  This is sort of where I see her character heading, unfortunately.  Successful, yet empty.

I will contemplate what this says for you then: you're nuts.

I always knew that Phyllis would be the happiest of them all.  I am not sure what the criteria of a Bad!Fic is... But this one is not "bad."

Author's Response: I think the definition of Bad!Fic is fic that is not right in the head.  Fics that, when you're reading them, make you say 'this is dumb'.  But so dumb, in fact, that you can't stop reading - just because you need to see what stupidity happens next.

This story is hysterical but don't forget the secondary characters:

Roy and Katy (natch)  Mose and Lonny (blissful shame), Darryl could hunt down that girl he banged from the video, Toby could maybe scoop up Stacy on the rebound.  Packer needs to become exceedingly ill from his years of debauchery and die miserable and alone.

Awesome job, you sicko, making me giggle like that.

Author's Response:

I feel sorry for poor Mrs. Mose.  I wonder if she knows that her husband is doing the dirty with the Seamonster on the side.

I would assume that, due to infection, Packer's willy falls off at some point in the near future, and thus kills himself.

Hahaha, at the beginning, I thought that the idea of Angela and Oscar as a couple was the funniest thing ever, but then I read on... there is almost too much funny here! And yay, Phyllis and Bob!

Author's Response:

Phyllis and Bob are the only normal couple, relationship-wise I think we'll ever see on the show.  Except they're obsessed about refrigeration, which can't be good for the size of his package.

Did I really type that?

Apparently, yes.

*crickets chirping*

Uh.... yeah.

I might suggest either upping the voltage, reducing the meds, or some comfortable combination of the two.

And yet, like some glorious train wreck, I cannot look away from this. Besides, it makes my heart happy in ways I don't talk about at cocktail parties to know that John Mellencamp FINALLY won an Oscar.

Author's Response:

Reducing the meds?  I think the world would be better off if I upped the meds.

I really, really, really want John Mellencamp to win an Oscar soon, just so the show would have to address this event.  A whole new 'Kevin is rich' plotline could be hilarious.

Sadly (or not?) this does sort of read like a Bad!Fic. But Bad!Fics hold a special place in my heart to (a small dark place that likes to tease the other brighter cuter ones) and it was an interesting read. The best part was Hudson's Pretzel Wagon, by far. All I ever wanted was Stanley to be happy...

Author's Response:

I've admitted that this is probably the worst thing I've ever written, and it wasn't intended as a Bad!Fic but as more of a OhMyGodMyBrainHasBrokenAndINeedHelp!Fic.

The world needs more Stanley.  And every day should be Pretzel Day.
