Ooh! I love all the little flashes betwen past and present, to show where they've come. Great job!

Author's Response: thank you :)

This is a really great story. I love how you put it together and I love the "yes and no" at the end.

Author's Response: thanks!  the structure was really important to me, as important as most of the fic itself.  thanks for the feedback!

I just let out an audible sigh/hummm thing. This is so beautiful and stirring. WOW.

Wow, this was so perfectly done! I loved the line "probably something about dreams, and them coming true" ...just awesome. On a sort of random note, "I can Hear the Bells" is my favorite Mike Doughty song, and just for fun, I loaded it up while I read this story. You really can feel the flow of the song in the urgency and the hopefulness of Jim's perspective. Awesome!

Author's Response: i definitely listened to that song about a thousand times while i wrote this.  for me, it's entirely about the urgency - glad you felt it!

Really beautiful, EL.  I wish I could be more profound--it's just that good.

Author's Response: no that certainly will suffice.  thanks for writing!
