I *loved* this. I like it when they get together before everything is so complicated, when it's not about the angst.

Author's Response: I know! I was watching the Booze Cruise commentary today and they were talking about how that was really a turning point in Jim and Pam's relationship. Sad. But thanks so much for the review!

I really, really enjoyed this, particularly this line:

When she looks at Roy all she can think about is their broken toaster oven. She doesn't want to think about what that means.

I think that just says so much about Roy and Pam's relationship. And I loved how sitting in his chair would be too intimate for her, and the dressing room scene. Just...wonderful job!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it!

Hey, I found you!

Again, I love this story. Especially the scene with the two of them in the dressing room!

Adore adore ADORE.  Jim playing basketball, Pam playing nursemaid, so much that's so good in one place.  Really well done.  And the dressing room?  GAH.  I'm still kinda speechless.

Author's Response: Aww well I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! I love Jim playing basketball. mmm. Thanks for reading!

I loved everything about this! This line was was so innocently hot - "Sometimes when she knows the answer, she'll wait until he figures it out, so his wrist will cross over hers to point out each letter and she can feel his warm skin press to hers." And then the hotness continued through that awesome scene in the dressing room and ending with the dress in the bag.   Totally awesome story! Thanks!

Author's Response: So glad you liked it! Thanks so much for reading (and reviewing)!

This is so sweet.  I do think that the date-setting was some kind of turning point for Pam, so if Jim had made his move earlier, she might have responded better.

Author's Response: That's probably true. I think he did wait a little too long, but at least he told her at all (go Jim!). Thanks so much for reading!

As Jim shakes it off and they jog down the court, Roy doesn't meet her eyes and neither does Jim.

Love that line! And solving the Jumble, with the shampoo, and the aftershave, and the wrist-touching?

And yet, that's a mere prelude to Jim the Zipper Fixer, with the shoulder touching, and neck kissing, and...

Ahhh. Very nice :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the lovely review! I love your stories, so this is flattering. Thanks again!

This is such a touching, graceful piece. The dressing room scene is especially good - absolutely fitting (no pun intended) their characters. Loved this line: 'The girl there is smiling.' Big sigh.

Author's Response:

This is such a touching, graceful piece.

Oh wow, thank you so much. And thank you for reading!

Oh, Jim. Oh, Pam. I needed this. So wonderful. I'm not surprised, because everything you write is wonderful, but still. The part in the dressing room was sweet and tense and hot all at once. So good.

Author's Response:

Aww, well thank you so much!

And this? Oh, Jim. Oh, Pam. Is how I feel a lot of the time. Half the time I can't say anything coherent about them.

aww so lovely. you created so many nice moments here--particularly loved their first introduction and this line: "She doesn't know how long she's felt like this, maybe only since this morning when her toaster oven broke, but she knows he's watched her like that for a long time."

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm so glad you liked that line.
